Cleaner cancelled after waiting for a week because she was ‘-afraid of staircase’. I responded by text asking for compensation. No response. New cleaner was allocated and still has not gotten in touch with me. Clearly poor service. Please read other reviews before using.

After an 8 week or so relationship with Absolute Domestics (AD) I am done. We have had 3 cleans completed. The first one was OK, the second and third were terrible quality. I have had to do the communication with 5 different cleaners, who seemed to not be given the details of the job by the agency - one cleaner was booked who was allergic to dogs (we have a dog and the agency know this) and she told me to let the agency know she couldn't do the job! Another cleaner was almost incomprehensible and fairly rude in his text communication with me. I contacted AD all along the way and gave them every chance to rectify the situation, even warned them I would post this review and gave them a week to allocate a competent cleaner without me having to do all the communicating. They have missed the deadline. Ignore the information on AD's website about saving you time, having trained cleaners and a satisfaction guarantee. Go elsewhere.

The worst home cleaning service I ever had, never again , my advice to everyone not to waste your money, the guy his name Nilantha came on time and left on time after 2 hours, he turned the gas stove on maybe be accident , i have no idea how he didn’t smell it , i had to turn the van on in the kitchen and open all the windows , all what he did is bed rooms vacuuming only, no mopping, very missy , he just moved the mat in the bathroom and left it in my son’s room , just to show me he cleaned the bathroom, didn’t touch the shower area at all , I m soooo upset really, and more and more , don’t know how describe really, the tool bar in the kitchen did move and the kids under still there , and at the end he left the rubbish bags in the kitchen, I had to ask him to put it in the bin outside, he put one bag in the bin and throw the other bag next to the bin , soooooo bad service, i could give them 0 star if I can . Not recommended at all.

I used Absolute domestic based on a friends recommendation. Although the two cleaners who completed the job did do a fairly good job they were very unrealisable and could never stick to the planned start time. On one occasion they were over an hour late. I ended up cancelling due to this experience.

EDIT: Just want to clarify since the response of the company (who have to be fair contacted me and been apologetic and helpful) that the issue was not the 2 person team. It was being over quoted on a job not worth $450 and only being given this insane price increase when the cleaners arrived. I've since had another company come out and do the same job for $179.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Was quoted 235 on the website. Cleaners turned up and said because they'd brought 2 of them it was 450. Told them to get out. It's a well kept 2 bedroom apartment not a chance it needs 450 worth of cleaning. Do not use this company.

We cancelled the service after 1 clean. Household items were not moved to dust and clean. Visible dust on surfaces behind things like photos and lamps. Some surfaces like the buffet in the kitchen were missed completely and still has dust on it. Built up soap scum was not cleaned in shower or around taps in the basin. In general house was not visibly cleaner. Upon cancelling service absolute domestics didn't even question why we were cancelling the service. Don't waste your time, they don't care.

I booked a move-in clean. The booking team were friendly and professional and were able to book a cleaner for the specific day we needed (we had no flexibility with timing). They took about a week to find someone to book and kept me updated while they were working on it. The prices, and the inclusions and exclusions, were all clearly explained at the time of booking, and there were no changes on the day. The person who cleaned for me was running late but let me know via text. They were friendly and polite, worked hard, were accommodating of my requests, and did a good job. I would recommend this service, and based on this experience I've booked an ongoing cleaning service with Absolute Domestics.

Do not use. Terrible experience. Waste of time. They don't call back, you need to call them. Finally a cleaner came 1 week but not the next and didn't bother to tell us. Rang the company to let them know - they didn't even bother to follow up with the cleaner. Paying 50% more per hour for no service from the Company. Cancelled service.

One star is one too many! Have had three different cleaners, each time progressively worse. The last ‘cleaners’ took the cake! Two came and said they would take half the time booked, for part of the booked time one stood and watched the other vacuum! They had absolutely no idea how to clean or of basic hygiene, obviously untrained and had to be shown and supervised whilst on the job. I ended up doing most of the work myself. I phoned the agency while they were here, then again straight after the ‘cleaners’ left to report their appalling job which was not fit for purpose, no feedback about the poor clean was ever received. I also emailed twice as not given a BSB and bank account number for payment, my emails have been ignored. Do not recommend these people!

After using them for 6-8 months we have given up. They charge 15 dollars admin fee per clean and cleaners charge 35/hour. They will always get you cleaner. But gosh, cleaners are horribly fussy or lazy. Had one leave as she was just too tired another left after giving one day notice.Not a good cleaning service. Needs toImprove on the cleaners they use. Not just use anyone who is willing to clean.3/5.
