Best service today; well informed. Seems like a good team. Purchased hiking boots and couldn’t have been more pleased. Easy parking, no expense like I paid when visiting Paddy’s in Melbourne (never do that again). Will continue to use this store for my hiking needs.

Great shop. Normal retail store at the front and clearance section at the rear with a large range of quality gear. Very helpful staff who were knowledgeable, polite and attentive. Thank you. Easy walking distance from the train station :-)

Awesome staff. Never been to a store that had every staff member enthusiastic to help you find the right gear. Decent collection in apparel. Lacks outdoors sunglasses range. Surely few more visits. Visited today, still the top class service.

I love coming to this store for my hiking and camping needs. Now that I know that it here. From the front it looked like it was abandoned several years ago. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Michael and his staff were very patient assisting me when selecting my new backpack.

Bit disappointed with my visit today. I was looking for a backpack but needed some help with all the different types. Instead of explaining the features and the differences, she just stood there.Walked out empty handed

Knowledgeable staff that were extremely helpful with the purchase of my first hiking backpack. They have weights instore that simulate a loaded pack. The staff then had the pack fitted on me. Plus they're one of the few stores that stock Osprey backpacks. Make sure to go for the membership to save a quick buck.I encourage those new and veterans and in between to the scene to support these local guys. Will be making my future purchases from here!

Paddy's has been here for ever, and it's basically the same. A few different brands than 30 years ago, but the same, reasonably serious outdoor/hiking shop it always was. It hasn't morphed into another Kathmandu, thankfully. You try and get serious hiking stuff these days? If I wanted junk, I'd go to Kmart! Paddy's still has real stuff, although their climbing gear selection is confined to a tiny shelf behind the counter, almost like it's just a token, and no sign of a crampon anywhere. Still, it's got most of what you'd need for a real adventure, and that's better than most. Bogong remains the gold standard, but Paddy's is alright.
