Have not been here since the previous owners.Their products were home made and hand cut potato cakes and chips and a variety of fresh fish. Sadly it has declined to deep fried frozen food service products. I have had better fish from the Aldi frozen fish section. Give it a miss.

Earlier this month we went on a road trip around Victoria and happened to order take-away dinner from this shop, as our hotel was nearby.These guys had the best tasting fish and chips we experienced during our holiday.

Worst fish and chips I have had in a long time! The large chips were small and way over priced for chips that are nothing special, the flake was ok but small and the onion rings? Well I'm not sure if you could even call them that! Small, burnt and probably frozen out of a packet! (see pic) How hard is it to cut a onion and dip it in some batter?

Dinner @UnionSquareFish for fish and chips, I got the lunch box. The chips are well seasoned, soft and fluffy and piping hot, but needed a little more cooking for some crunch. The fish has a lovely tasty crunchy batter, tender fish needing a touch of seasoning, great with a squeeze of lemon. The potato cake is excellent, lovely crunchy batter encasing soft potato. Delicious. They prepare the fish in front of you.m, so you know it is fresh. We had the pack for two for $24.50, you get two pieces of fish, chips, dim sims and two flat round things. Two cans of soda are also included. Would definitely recommend.

My favourite fish and chip shop, the chips are the best I've ever had here. Wish I had a fish and chip shop as good as this one where I live. And yes I have travelled here all the way from South Eastern suburbs to eat!
