Oaks Port Douglas Resort

Quite disappointed with the Oaks PD. The rooms had stains everywhere, including the bedsheets and mould in the shower.Do not bother with breakfast, it was cold and the machine coffee costs extra.We did not get room service once despite it being included with our room packageThe saving grace is the staff and the pool. Pool drinks and food are pricey, so be aware. Staff are absolutely lovely and cannot be faulted. Unfortunately, will not be returning

Room was clean and staff were friendly. Did not use the pool, it look awesome tho. We had breakfast there in the morning, the food was your basic hot breakfast, the price was a little expensive for what you get, would have gone somewhere else if we had the time.

We stayed for new year over 5 days. Its advertised 4 star and maybe it was 20 years ago but it is definitely 3 star or less now. The room is small with only one tiny desk. Rooms were not cleaned properly everyday, no bin liner, we had to ask for towels and mugs. When we arrived the bar and restaurant were closed the entire day and the pool bar closed at 4 so there is literally nothing to do. The pool bar has awful cheapest alcohol and closes at 4 so after 4 theres no food or drinks. Nothing was planned for nye, yes you can go into town but arranging something at the resort would have been great. The entire resort is outdated and in desperate need of a make over. The concierge are not helpful i asked if there were activities around Port Douglas to do the rain and she said ‘we have boardgames’. When checking in we were given our card and had to figure out where the room was (it felt like walking through a hostel) no one helped us with bags or walked us there isn’t that standard for a 4 star? Breakfast was terrible, very bland and limited choices they didn’t even have pastries. Outdated toaster takes 10 mins to get toast which was also on terrible doughy bread. The only good thing was the shuttle bus which is not part of the resort but they are very efficient and the pool 2 bar tenders who where delightful.

Great lil spot for the night at Port Douglas. Felt like a condo/apartment design, and enjoyed a studio with a bed, desk, full bathroom, and a kettle for my teas.

One of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. Great resort, has everything you need if you want to stay in, enjoy the facilities and just chill by the pool which is all what we really needed as we are from Cairns.Clean spacious apartments, maybe a bit more to do with room equipment as we would have loved to spare the poor housekeeping staff to clean our balcony.Will def stay there again.

Attended conference room meetings.Air-conditioned, Set up nicely. Upstairs just beyond front reception area.Did not stay here.

Nice plane to lay your head for a night. Excellent pool facilities. Good value. Happy to recommend. Laundry included in the 1 bed apartment a special extra.

Rooms are barebones but the resort is lovely. And we had very good service. Booked and checked in last minute and they did a good job accommodating us.

Nice hotel, 3rd floor rooms have no lift access so not ideal for my elderly dad but could just handle it, ask for lower level if not good with stairs, restaurant very good, staff were friendly and helpful

For a weekend getaway, it was lovely. The room was standard but nice. The pool area was great for relaxing with some drinks and a nice restaurant for dinner. We enjoyed our stay.
