I have been using Dave & his team now for 10 years for the variety of cars that myself and my family own. From an Audi to a Corolla, Service has been excellent and is cost effective compared to dealers. I have referred all my friends when looking for a good mechanic.

Personally I believe the $140 an hour labor is way too high. I cant see how such a small company can have such high overheads, owner must be making an absolute fortune off labor.Parts were reasonable for the job and I am happy with themCant speak for the workmanship but from what I can tell it seems good.Overall, happy with the work that was done however definitely left the bank account sore and empty.

Dave and his team come highly recommended for all your motoring requirements. Their professionalism, knowledge and kindness have been invaluable in servicing and caring for my daughter's car (Toyota Corolla) for a number of years. I have no hesitation in recommending this business for honest, thorough and quality workmanship at a very reasonable price. Thank you Dave, we really appreciate all of your hard work!

Newcastle Automotive have been servicing my cars now for some years now.All the staff are always so incredibly helpful and welcoming.I am always informed what is needed and required, especially if any additional costs or any concerns I might need to address to ensure my car (Mustang) is maintained in excellent condition.I would not hesitate to recommend Newcastle Automotive, the best mechanic personally I have gone to.

Called up to book my car in for some work. Was spoke to in such a poor manor by David, and he tried to rush me off the phone.Go elswhere. Lack of professionalism and very disrespectful man on the phone

Our company has been using NAS for servicing of our cars for several years and have found them to provide a honest and professional service.I had a mechanical problem with my car which could have had me off the road for several days. NAS fitted me in and got me going the same day within hours. Di, Dave and the Staff just got the job done. From sourcing the specialist parts, installing and testing for me to get to my commitments safely with minimal fuss, organisation and speed. I would highly recommend their services and like to thank them for their efforts.

Extremely impolite when asked for a price breakdown.EDIT: There is no record of MY name as it was my fiance who you swore at over the phone. This left her shaken up and extremely upset. Her asking for a price breakdown was not an unreasonable request and for you to become frustrated and belittle her the way you did was unacceptable. If you had called her to let her know what needed to be done, how much it would cost and if she was happy to proceed - she wouldn't have needed to ask for a price breakdown. You need may well be good at your job but your lack of patience and communication over the phone certainly needs to improve. You did try to make it right and I am sure you will you reflect on this and be better for it.

I brought a second hand car to this garage to get a pre-purchase vehicle check and I can't recommend them enough. David and Diane (the owners of the garage) are honest, friendly, knowledgeable and provided an excellent service. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

READ THIS BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO GO TO THIS GARAGE.I should have read the 1 star reviews before coming here, theres a reason its the lowest rated garage in Newcastle. Please read the 1 star reviews and make up your own mind, dont make the same mistake as me.Not only the worst garage I have ever been to but the worst Service from a business I have received in my life.I was sworn at by David and shouted at down the phone multiple times.Booked in to get a rego as mine was running out. Was told there was an oil leak the same day and all it needs is a simple cap change and David said Should be done in 30 minutes so come in and collect it" I went there in 30 minutes and was told by David he never said this and it must have been someone else
