Hyperbaric oxygen therapy reduces swelling while flooding the tissues with oxygen. The higher pressure in the chamber increases the amount of oxygen in the blood. After recently going to the Emergency department of the local hospital for my extremely sore toe, I was told by the surgeon that my toe was dying and had to be surgically removed. I was in total shock after hearing this and told the surgeon I wanted to see if I could save it. He told me there was a slim chance but didn’t look good. After leaving hospital I thought was the hyperbaric chamber could be helpful in getting oxygen to my toe. After speaking with Chris he agreed so I made my first appointment. After a few sessions in the chamber my toe started to improve which was quite a relief. After seeing an improvement I was keen to keep the therapy going to make sure I didn’t have to get this toe amputated. I really believe that there is a major health benefit to the chamber and highly recommended it to anyone.

Coast Oxygen has one of the best and newest chambers that i have tried,very good customer service as well provided from Chris and Vicky. Breathing 95% of oxygen you feel better after every sesion you do,i would recomened it to anyone who wants to improve their helth.

I had been considering trying HBOT for my pericarditis. After trialing 4 different medications (anti-inflammatories) under the guidance of my kind Drs, I found unfortunately for me I reacted badly to all of them. (Due to Salicylate intolerance). The medications had caused my health to go backwards and I was quite disappointed, as the Pericarditis had severely affected my health. Thankfully I was able to find the mild HBOT here in Terrigal. The kind and caring staff at Coast Oxygen eased me gently and at my own pace. As the medication had affected my sinuses I could not initially go in the chamber, as I wasn’t able to equalize. So I started on the oxygen outside of the chamber in a massage table receiving an automated massage. Which was fantastic! As I started using the chamber I was able to go the level I was comfortable with. I have now had several treatments at full pressure. I enjoy my time relaxing and listening to music. Slowly I have noticed improvements in small steady increments. I am also on some medication to help the pericarditis and also to reduce Histamines which are also a contributing factor in my condition along with autoimmune The oxygen therapy is definately helping at a slow steady pace. And these small steps forward are really quite big considering how sick I have been. I am so so so thankful this service is available!!!!!!! i am looking forward to more improvements so I can get my life back!

WOW, I had my first session with Coast Oxygen for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (followed by a chiropractic adjustment) and just LOVED the experience. I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised with the process. The chamber is really comfortable and I started to giggle a few times because the feelings of pure oxygen feels amazing. My only recommendation would be to have a blanket with you inside the chamber because it can get slightly chilly. I had the best nights rest ever!
