As per other 1 star reviews David Embelton cannot warrant his products which he imports. Always blames something else and tries to tak down to you as if you don't have any knowledge or experience. We have been in the timber flooring industry for over 25 years and never did we have issues with flooring delamination, expansion, noisy and faulty, until we started using your products. Until speaking with others in the industry we quickly discovered every retailer was experiencing the same issues. Not only did it cost us thousands of dollars to replace your faulty products but the amount of business we gave your company, you left us on our knees. The whole industry knows your character and dishonest and dirty approach. I guess that is why all retailers are not selling your products anymore. One day your day will come with karma. I'm surprised your still in business.Stay away from this company there are many flooring businesses out there in which appreciate your business . Make sure you do your research. Don't get caught out like the rest of us.If any customes have experienced issues please notify here and make people aware.

After having our new Embelton engineered floor laid, the board ends started to lift after three months. We notified the builder, floor layer and Embetons, David Embelton came and said he would take our spare boards for testing. He lost the boards? It is now over two years. After numerous phone calls and e mails after threatening going to VCAT, David said that sanding would fix the problem, it made it worse. Then we employed a independent floor consultant to inspect and write a report, this clearly identified the problem being the boards having a faulty locking system and would need the floor to be replaced. All this time David Embelton refused to communicate with us directly all correspondence was to go through the floor layer. We then contacted Consumer Affairs, they advised we write a letter of complaint requesting a reply within ten working days, after getting no response they then advised we fill out the on line form with Domestic building Dispute Resolution Vic. This we have done and have a case file number and awaiting their next contact. If this canot be resolved they then help you take the complaint to VCAT this is where we are at now. We believe David Embelton had no intention of ever replacing the floor and was dragging it out hoping we would go away.We suggest if you are having a similar problem you follow this course and warn others of this type of treatment by Embelton Floors.
