Aidacare - Mobility & Healthcare Equipment

Sep 2021a staff member on behalf of my disabled auntie ordered a leg support cushion from Aidacare Cheltenham vic,for nearly 1400 dollars.in Jan 2022 she passed away,never receiving thiscushion,after she passed away I spoke to staff from aidacare,they reassured me that a refund would be given but it would need to go back in to account that it was purchased from,I explained that the money would have to go to state trustees as the account had been closed.Here we are April 2023 they still have not given a refund,no one has had the decency to make any contactI spoke to one of the staff today,did not want to listen to me at all, apparently now they do not have a record of such a transaction,Really , this is after me speaking to numerous staff in the past year,she asked me what do I expect from this,she asked me where the cushion was,really after over a year, would i be following this up if she had recieved it,she told me to follow it up with my aunties case worker,I said that she died there is no case worker,so now she will ask her superiors to look in to the matterIt is really not right

Service was lousy, no one wants to help . You are buying aids , they don’t even offer to carry it to your car. Staff aren’t that knowledgeable and are not at all enthusiastic or helpful . Need a lesson in retail , get off the computers and try giving service with a smile !

Bought a walker with a seat here for my mother in-law a few months ago. Recently one of the nuts had come loose and was lost while she was out walking so I went in to get a replacement. Firstly a young lady served me and said she would have a look to see if they had a spare. Before this lady had a chance to look, an older lady took over and said they wouldn't have one without even looking. Suggested that I should try Bunnings which is silly because this was a special type of nut that I know Bunnings wouldn't have. Be wary of buying from Aidacare as they obviously don't carry spare parts. I would suggest buying from somewhere else. I have also noticed other reviews and heard from other people that their after care service is very poor so beware.

Have waited almost 2 months for a chair for my Mum after being told they would mark it as urgent. We also felt if we didn't purchase it that day we would have a long wait. But we have waited 2 months as it is. We were tossing up whether to wait for SWEP which they knew. We could have saved so much money if they were honest. In the end they are just sales people, they don't really care about their clients. I know a lot of people have no choice but to shop here but make sure they are honest with you about wait times.

ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL SERVICE! Firstly they ignore you for as long as possible, then they are argumentative and rude. DO NOT COME HERE for any form of assistance.

Great range. Knowledgeable and staff member not afraid to acknowledge someone else had more experience with a product I was enquiring about.Busy but not left wondering when all staffs busy - an acknowledgement of our presence & a (kept) promise of attendance when available.Really excellent customer service.

Staff weren't very friendly having personal conversations in front of customers. No masks on staff, even though there is a sign on the door. Stock was the only good thing about here, so we found what we wanted and a better price elsewhere.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! Disgusted with the lack of service and care. Trying to get anything achieved with this company is ridiculous and exhausting. Was told my electromagnetic brake was failing on my mobility scooter and it would need to be replaced. He reported this as 'urgent'. Four weeks later, countless phone calls and nothing. They have not even ordered the parts! They were contacted by a ndis representative- and still did nothing! Have now gone elsewhere, (a recommended reputable company) who were already assessing the scooter properly in under a week! Do not waste your time, energy or ndis funding on a company that will not care about you or your safety.
