Chris is a true professional who knows his trade, is quick, thorough and truly cares about the client. He came in under budget, in the time he estimated and the quality was exceptional. He clearly cares about workmanship because at the point of completion, I spotted him cleaning the exhaust under the car (where no-one can see). He also happens to be a nice guy!!

Chris is a nice guy, but he made several executive decisions without consulting me, and at the time of doing the work, the premises were not licensed for car repair work, and Chris did not possess a Motor Vehicle Tradespersons Certificate which is required for such work. I am disappointed with how Chris did the job and the resulting sound. After I complained to Chris about the job, he says I will never get a muscle car sound out of my V8 because the firing order is different. Well I googled the firing order of 350 Chevs, and the firing order is the same as my V8. So I believe he is making up excuses. If he really believed I would not end up getting a muscle car sound, then he should have told me beforehand so I could take my car elsewhere, rather than forking out hard-earned money. Furthermore, Chris ordered different catalytic converters to the one's I sent him a picture of. And on top of that, the flanges he used are overkill and not in keeping with the rest of the system nor in the location of original flanges. Essentially the work devalued my car. Chris is unwilling to rectify the work. Last week I had another muffler shop inspect the work who said the way the work was done was not right. Which means to rectify the job, I have to spend more money to pay someone else to do it.

Excellent work by Chris on my 90 Series Prado getting a new header and exhaust system fitted. The sound & power of the old girl is AMAZING!!. The quick turnaround and attention to detail just shows his 36 plus years of experience in the business. I would highly recommend Best Mufflers. The name says it all..

Very high class of repairs, custom fabrication and knowledge from Chris

Back around 2012 I had Chris pre fabricate and send me a side exit touring cars style exhaust for my XWGT. With a little bit of to-ing and fro-ing drawings etc he sent it. He sent it to me with the fronts a bit long wit a couple of flanges to weld on after trial fitting. The system was to be bolted up to the collectors. Hae had fitted mounts to fit to the seat screws and a couple of other points. The fit was very well thought out and not one bit needed to be re done. So all I had to do was make the front fit the collectors. Minimal mucking around. Can remove the road exhaust and fit this in minutes. No horsepower loss and the sound is fantastic. The result reflects Chris' experience and knowledge. Pricing was reasonable and so was he. I have not forgotten your work Chris......I am reminded every time I go to a track day. THANK YOU again.
