Look I’m assuming this place is nice, I was meant to go here because my school started up a girls hockey team and then I became sick - best part is, we had been training for weeks because only two or three people could ACTUALLY play hockey, and then got knocked out after the first game. So yeah, I’ve trained for hockey, and never actually played it.

Good hockey centre. Just the one field which is a watered pitch. You can get a reasonable coffee at the clubhouse as well as drinks, chips, chocolate and food. They also serve beer, wine and cider. The Ryde club people are really nice and make you feel welcome.

Reasonable (single) hockey field. Clubhouse with canteen and a hockey store for equipment - though check the opening hours.Doesn't seem to be any off field warm-up space.

Ryde Hunters Hill District Hockey Club
The field is looking tired in a few small places where it has worn out but still has life in it. The club itself is one of the biggest in the Sydney Competition and is currently in a fight with the NSW Government to try and keep the field as the Government is trying to put a new school on the site - This is one of the many times that rival hockey clubs have banded together to help each other out. I myself have pushed to keep the field and have the school on the site.
