Shine Dance Studio

My two girls are going to Shine and love it. The teachers are caring, attentive and great professionals. The end of the year concert was a hit! It was amazing ! The show, the kids, the planning, the atmosphere! Beyond all the expectations!Irina

Shine Dance Studio is such a positive and welcoming place. At Shine I do ballet/contemporary, Showgroup (jazz and singing), pointe and tap. Each of my teachers for those classes are so kind, helpful, funny and most of all, supportive which is why shine is my second home. At shine I have made so so many friends who i share some amazing memories with and I will forever hold those in my heart. This year I got into showgroup and my teacher is Vanessa. Vanessa brings this positive vibe into class each lesson and she is always so excited to teach us new things which i love. Another exciting thing was I also got onto pointe this year which has been one of my favourite experiences. my pointe teacher Jaymee has taught me so much already in the first 7 weeks and she is so supportive and patient because she knows how hard it can be starting on pointe. Shine is overall such an amazing place and i am so glad i can call it my second home ❤❤

The owners Vanessa and Adrian clearly genuinely care about the students and it shows. Shine is an amazing supportive family where my kids have enjoyed going for years.

Wow what an amazing dance school. This has been my daughters first year of dancing and it could not have been a better or more positive experience. Vanessa is the most amazing teacher, she has a way of connecting with the students and my daughter absolutely adores her.Adrian and Vanessa’s love, dedication, and passion for the school, for dancing and inspiring the students became so evident at the end of year concert. What an amazing performance and effort by all.I can’t believe the confidence that my daughter now has (and not to mention new found sass!) and we are so excited to see what next year will bring.This is not your typical dance school but a really special inclusive place that I trust will enrich my kids with confidence, positive self esteem, and the joy of dancing. Let me tell you about Shine Dance studio. Sorry for all the words (not sorry!)This place has been instrumental in giving my daughters the most wonderful experiences whilst developing musicality, singing, dancing and stage skills.Vanessa and Adrian and the staff have always been so invested in the students. It shows in how they run their operations (in and out of covid pain) constantly working with the kids.I can't not mention the effort and level of organisation that goes into the end of year concerts. They pretty much take the planning and thinking out of our hands - and we just have to turn up!! It’s a relief when time is so precious in December, and for for those of us parents who are useless at pulling a dance costume together ;)The kids are part of the bells and whistles rehearsals, preparation and full stage performance, which my kids have loved every year.Amongst all the organising and performances, Vanessa still manages to squeeze in blubbery tears with the rest of us, when she sees our little people show courage, determination and their hard work with big proud smiles, on stage.Their hearts are exploding right there with us and you can see the values that flow through to the way they operate their business.My eldest daughter has been there for over 7 years now and starting to have different interests. She rolls her eyes when I start to get sad about not going to Shine (as much) any more.It’s because I know they could still offer her so much more. Shine has been responsible for developing her confidence and giving her such fun experiences, which a school curriculum could never fully provide.I couldn’t recommend Shine Dance Studio more for kids who are into this stuff.Will stop with the gushing now!

Shine is so great, such a friendly family vibe. My daughter started here in kindy class and is now in grade 4 and loves her weekly dance class. Each week when I drop my daughter off she is excited and the end of year concert was fabulous. We were counting down the days and the smiles beaming from my daughter and her friends made my heart warm.I would recommend Shine Dance Studio to any kids wanting to start dancing.

I’ve been at Shine for the last 11 years and I couldn’t imagine my life without it. It’s such an inclusive space where everyone can express themselves. The people I’ve met and the memories I’ve made will stay with me for the rest of my life and I’m really happy to call Shine my second home. I recommend enrolling your child if not for the experience then for the memories and friendships your child will create. I’ve had an experience with almost all of the teachers and they are people I can come to with anything, they helped shape me to become the person I am now and I couldn’t be more grateful. Vanessa and Adrian are people that I look up to. They work so well with all students and strive to help kids improve. I’ve known them both for almost my whole life and they are such incredible and inspiring people that anyone would be lucky to meet.I 200% recommend.

My daughters been dancing at shine for 11 years. So great to be back watching the concert after Covid. It’s just a great family run business, the choreography is wonderful and the costumes were beautiful we love that we get to keep them I would really recommend this school to anyone whose daughter likes to dance around the room it caters for all levels from beginner to advanced. The students at shine are so supportive & inclusive of one another and many life long friendships have been formed ,Vanessa and Adrian put 110% into this studio and their effort never goes unrecognised especially during the concert. There is a variety of styles to chose ,from contemporary to tap. Shine gives students the opportunity to express themselves. So excited for 2023 at Shine

We are so very happy at Shine. The kinder song and dance class is a great introduction to performing arts, specifically dance and singing. The team at shine take great care and pride in the learning they provide. We're looking forward to many more years ahead, and to enrolling in new and different classes.

Best dance studio in Melbourne - hands down. The passion for the kids shines through. Our daughter Charlotte is so happy every Saturday before and following her dance class. She’s grown in self-confidence and ability. Thanks to all the teachers.
