Glossed Nails & Beauty

Have had my SNS nails and Shellac pedicure done here a number of times in the past. Although not subject to the rude behaviour of the manager, I certainly witnessed it. I arrived 45 mins ago and have been sitting with my feet in cold water waiting for my pedicure with the staff telling me they will be ‘5 more minutes’. The salon is nearly empty (2 other customers) so I don’t know what is going on. I’m about to walk out. So unhappy and so disappointed.

Loved my nails! Amazing staff, beautiful nail designs and reasonable prices. I came in with my friend to do my nails and didn’t really know what I wanted yet. There were a variety of services and designs available. The staffs were super nice especially Michelle - who helped me decide on the design and did my nails. Highly recommend as this is my third to fourth time here and have always had amazing service!

I purchased voucher for my in law f or Christmas for a pedicure and shellac nails.Unfortunately my MIL couldn’t use the voucher and I ended up using it. Upon arrival I told the nail artist that I wanted French manicure with red tips and she gave me the colour chart to choose my red as well. After my feet was done, already an hour into my visit there, she started to do my hands and proceeded to start using white tips. When I said I have chosen a red colour, she said it would be ten dollars extra. She had already added another ten dollars prior for the French manicure. I told her that I did inform her Thant I wanted red French tips to start with and she did not accept. I chose to finish my session there after 1:15 minutes. They did not offer an apology for misunderstanding an charged me $10 on top of my $65. No idea about customer service whatsoever.

I went to remove my acrylic nails. Was waiting with my nails dipped in acetone water for 35 mins. When I asked they said it’s not done yet. Left my skin so dry to the point it started peeling off. Highly unmanaged place. Not returning anytime soon!

Glossed Nails is under new managementI have been going to Michelle for 5 years and am now coming to Glossed since she moved hereShe is beyond amazing and my nails always look so good! I get so many compliments on them every timeI always get super friendly and high quality service and I don’t mind travelling to the new salon because of the great service I receiveCouldn’t recommend Glossed Nails enough

I used to come to Glossed regularly to get my nails done until I could no longer be witness to the rude and extremely abrasive manager who speaks to customers like they’re an inconvenience and with complete contempt. And the staff who work there walk around on egg shells waiting to be scolded.The owners of this salon are losing loyal customers because of this manager - she shouldn’t be working with people. What used to be a busy parlour is a quiet ghost town every time I walk past to get my nails done elsewhere. Employ new management and I’ll return back.

Michelle is one of the best nail technicians I've found. The prices here are sooo good. Especially if you pay cash. Nice atmosphere and all the staff are friendly. Michelle does the perfect French nail.
