Nice day out with friends. Had a lovely drive out to kalbar and amazing lunch. Would definitely recommend the food. Meat was so tender. The loaded fries were amazing. The staff were friendly and service was fast. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful BBQ. Beats everywhere in Brisbane, proper American BBQ you won’t find anywhere else. Everything on the menu is amazing but the brisket is to die for! Been here twice now and will be back a third time!

Such an unexpected surprise!!! I do love smoked meat and this brisket tasted great. Chips were perfectly done as well. Staff were friendly and the meal came quickly even though they were busy!

The cooked low and slow pulled beef just melts in your mouth and the taste is amazing, so good I ate there twice in one day. This restaurant is always beautifully presented and clean. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. A must do when you're in Kalbar

2 m8’s bbq is a GREAT choice! The young gentleman was very polite and helpful. The meat is always fresh and flavorful, the sides compliment well, and the portion sizes are appropriate for the cost. A wonderful option on weekends or anytime you want someone else to do the cooking for you!

We traveled all the way from Brisbane to try this smoke house. Unfortunately, it wasn't amazing. There were flies and wasps flying around the window and inside, the meat was a little bland and we left a majority of our food. Staff also said everything was seasoned offsite before coming to the store.

Mad scramble to find somewhere for Mother’s Day when we were visiting the area, and so glad we found 2 m8’s!!! Worth a long beautiful drive on the weekend for amazing food and wonderful owners/staff. The share plate for 2 is worth its weight in gold and add a few sides: love the Mac n cheese and American sodas.Fed a family with 2 little kids and still had to take away some leftovers. WE WILL BE BACK. 6 stars since google only has 5.

Awesome place for lunch offering great good and great value for money. The brisket box was awesome and plenty of food for an adult. Brisket burger was big and chunky, and small mac n cheese was a great kids serving. Nice range of soft drinks available. Definitely a nice spot to stop for lunch or a snack.

Excellent food and just lovely service! Would recommend the brisket basket and the nachos! Really well made food. Fun selection of drinks. Will certainly be coming back.
