12 Apostles Helicopters

Amazing. Didn’t have a reservation and the crew got us in. The views were spectacular. Well worth the money. Family loved it. Highly recommend.

A very good way to see the twelve apostles. It’s a pricey proposition with a 16 min ride costing AUD 165. The actual flight time works out to only 12 mins or so. The views are amazing.They have 2 helicopters - a 3 seater and a 7 seater. Depending on the number of passengers they pick which helicopter to fly. They generally don’t fly with less than 5 passengers in the 7 seater and 2 passengers in the 3 seater. You may heave to wait or split your group accordingly to accommodate.Try to take a seat upfront if possible as the best views are from those seats.

Absolutely fantastic, had a brilliant time. The pilot was friendly and knowledgeable and we got to see all the sights of the 12 apostles and the coastline all the way up. It was stunning! You see so much more than you can from land. We even saw stairs carved into the rocks and cliff face, something we weren't even aware of.

Great staff and informative pilot.Definitely give it a go if you are going to visit the 12 Apostles, it’s a memorable experience.

A great scenic flight. We left at 1106. As mentioned elsewhere, try for a front seat or the right hand side of the rear. The position of the sun will influence the quality of your photos. The one below is looking through the front whilst the second one is from the left hand side on the return leg. This is a quick way to see much of the noteworthy sections of the 12 Apostles area.

We took 25 minutes flight from 12 Apostles to Bay of islands few Sundays ago. We did not have previous booking, came first thing in the morning and had just short wait before our pilot took us for a ride. We think ride it’s worth doing because as it stands today just 7 of 12 limestone rock formation are still there while you have maybe even more beautiful Bay of Martyrs just “down the road”
