Jen's Nail Salon

I went in to this salon to have my 4 weeks old SNS removed. I have never left a salon with such damage to my nails. The salon was busy and the staff were attending to multiple customers at a time. This meant of course they provided a rushed service, lacking any level of care. My poor nails suffered as consequence, they've practically been hacked and feel so fragile. I've had SNS and shellac removed previously at other salons and there's never been damage to this extent.Funnily enough, another customer came in to the salon the same time I was getting my SNS removal and complained about her botched nail job. I wish I could've walked out then and there but was already half way through my service. I would not recommend this salon after this experience.

I am sitting at the salon as I hesitantly decide whether I can rate this salon any better.I have now decided I would have wanted a zero star option.There were 5 staff. Therefore easy to assume it’s a busy successful salonAll the staff only chatted and chuckled with each other while doing their job.My pedicure, foot scrub, and massage was non existent.The lady beside me expressed concern about her toe nails not being filed. The staff told her that she did file and ignored the customer.The lady turned to me to get assurance that she wasn’t imagining things. I said she wasn’t.We both realised it was our first visit here and that we won’t be provided any service!The person doing my work is now on social media and chucking with other staff while waiting for my shellac to dry.The towels were dirty. The chair and the handles etc extremely dirty!!To top it all, they have a hand written note on the counter that they require Cash only.I paid the $50. Told them the service and cleanliness needed a lot of work and that I will be posting a review.Utterly disappointedWill not return!

First time visiting this week. I had shellac removal & application. Very happy. I was worried they might file off too much during removal but my nails were still in great condition afterwards. Application was perfect. Very affordable. Would come back again although I’d probably avoid peak times

On holidays and needed two nail repairs. Lucy did a wonderful job matching colour and shape is perfect. Both Lucy and Jen very pleasant and salon is very clean. Definitely recommend and would return without hesitation. Also extremely good price. Lynne, Queensland.☀️

I don't understand the negative reviews. I've been here about 7 times for SNS and every time I've had great service, quick and reasonably priced. They always cut and shape my nails like I want them and they go out of their way to ask if I'm happy with the length and shape. Perhaps the other services aren't that great but my SNS has always lasted the recommended 3-4 weeks (even longer). I have found all the ladies to be pleasant - I mostly watch Netflix when I'm getting my nails done so I don't really require a lot of interaction!

One of the poorest experiences I've had at a salon.They:refused to tell me how long the wait would be even when I asked twice and just left me sitting thereburned me pressing too hard with the drill several times, even after I let them know it was hurtinggave me acrylics with shellac when I asked for tips with SNS (SNS lasts twice as long than shellac for me so it was an issue)when I asked why, they refused to offer an apology. I just wanted them to say 'sorry we made a mistake' but they flat out refusedcharged me $60 for the pleasure of being kept waiting, burnt and not providing the service I went in to haveso so so bad

Jen herself is great. BUT the other girl was rude af (I mean if you don't like your job then don't stay here) - there was no other customer waiting yet she is still rushing. Her quality of services was poor - painting outside the nails, AND very uneven surface. Avoid. The other customer also refused to use her service and stick with Jen.

Lucy did an amazing job and I am so happy with her lovely service! Go to Lucy if you want some great nails - she did a FANTASTIC 10/10 job, I am so happy with my nails!! Also Jen is very lovely, I’m sure you will be happy if you come here. They have great attention to detail and they do some fantastic nails for a very reasonable price!!A true hidden gem in the city - will come back again for sure :) They removed my fake nails very easily and without pain, I am very happy!! Thank you for the excellent shellac experience.

This shop is the number one place for my nails. My toenail has been in trouble for a long time. I searched many nail salons in Melbourne until I found one. Owner of this shop I can't go anywhere else. Recommended
