Ordered Chicken Parmigiana and a 250 gram Rump Medium Rare with Jacket Potato and Market vegetables.The Steak was cooked to order! Steak was outstanding (we are fussy that they are not over cooked).The Parmigiana was golden on the outside and hot and juicy on the inside!The Napoli sauce is house made and very good.The market vegetables were perfectly cooked, not too hard or soft and very fresh.Would highly recommend to any fussy eater you will be pleasantly surprised.Prices are very reasonable also.

A pub schnitzel is just a pub schnitzel, right?Not here!Clearly crumbed in-house with a lovely herb base, chicken cooked to succulent perfection.Fresh veggies that were neither too soft nor too hard with a touch of melted butter for flavour.Will be back to try other menu items.

The Absolute best place to stay in Bowen! Great rooms, Great food, Great People and Amazing Staff. These Guys know what they are doing and they do it well. When in Bowen Its gotta be the QBM!

Had lunch here on Sunday and after placing our order (I chose 1 of the Specials) and enjoying our drinks, I was advised that the special had sold out the evening prior.Asked what I would like in its place by the very apologetic and accommodating staff, I replied Surprise me!"What arrived a short while later was one of the best meals I have had in years - and I dine out a LOT as i live in Airlie. This meal (and staff) was so good that Im writing a review which is not something I usually do.Crispy skin pan fried Barramundi on a salsa bed - which consisted of avocado

A truly fantastic venue. The staff were very kind, courteous and ensured I had a good laugh which only enhanced my experience. The drinks were great and affordable & their weekly specials offered a variety of taste. My meal was to die for! The chefs here really know their stuff, I'll definitely be coming back!!

The QB sharing plate was amazing. Lizzie was super friendly and helpful in the bistro. Management on duty however was unfriendly and belittling to staff.
