Big John and staff are super experienced and highly attentive with all your needs. They go the extra mile to offer free postage and are prompt on emails.There was a mix up with my orders, they gave me something that was worth more than what I ordered, and after contacting them they decided to give it to me for no extra charge.Definitely something they didn't have to do, but they did. And that was so nice of them.Check them out for all your climbing needs!You won't be disappointed.

Excellent retailer. I've purchased a few bouldering pads which are always great quality and reasonably priced. The staff have provided excellent customer service and have gone the extra mile. If your looking for a quality pad that doesn't cost the earth then look no further!

Bought a pair of Tenaya shoes online from overseas. I bought the same size as per my current Tenaya shoes but different model. Turns out the size of the new model was wrong. Contacted BJR as they're the Australian distributor and they were very accommodating and agreed to swap my shoes for the correct size!! Superb service!!!!Thank you John for being a great help and thank you Ella, the lovely lady at the store who followed up on the whole process with phone calls, updates on stock availability and then fitting at the store.You guys rock!!!Many thanks

Got a pair of shoes resoled here which came out great. John also helped me get a replacement pair of tenaya shoes due to mine being faulty (and I hadn't even bought the original ones from BJR!). Thanks for your help. Great well stocked shop with some bargains to be had!

Absolutely brilliant customer service. They went well beyond my expectations in replacing faulty shoes offered ideal solutions to the problems I was having. Couldn't have asked for a more friendly, streamlined experience with them, even though I didn't even get my original shoes from them. Will definitely be using them in the future for any climbing related needs.

The emails back and forth displayed a high level of customer service which I felt very welcomed as a customer. In the end, the order eventually arrived at my house, safe and sound. When the surprise birthday gift I purchased for my partner turned out to be the wrong size, I contacted Big John for help.What can I do?" He offered an immediate solution and put aside an alternate pair of climbing shoes while I popped the others in the mail to return. In no time at all we had the new ones and they fit! I was trying to buy my first pair of climbing shoes during lockdown and ordered off their website. I got a call from one of their employees who talked me through sizing especially because I have a wide foot. Leah was super helpful and helped me pick the perfect size over the phone which is extremely hard to do if you cant try them on in store! They came the next day after I had ordered them and they fit perfectly. The staff are super knowledgable and I cant recommend them enough!
