Came here on a Saturday night for dinner. We were seated upstairs in a beautiful space. Great cocktails and good food. Service was impeccable

Excellent food, cocktails and service. Beautiful venue and vibe. The set menu for $85 had a good variety of dishes.Everything was delicious especially the kingfish, ceviche taco , choco dessert. The pork jowl taco was a bit too fatty however.The service was attentive and friendly. We came for a birthday and they made it special with candles and gave us a complimentary espresso cocktail which was deliciousGreat place to enjoy a nice meal with friends. Note the bathroom is two flights of stairs up.

First time visiting after Covid and the food quality is just as amazing as it was few years ago. We had a lovely range of menu items and drinks. Fantastic service from waitstaff and comfortable seating for a good catch up between friends. Will definitely be back again and recommend to more friends.

Tequila Mockingbird has been one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney since I was 20, however, until now I haven't felt worthy enough to leave a review....Hidden in the backstreets of Paddington, this unassuming, beautiful dinning experience transports you to a different time... A different place ... Every detail curated is executed perfectly. Faultless, my favourites on the menu are the lobster tail and kingfish. Absolute flavour explosions! The garlic sauce in the kingfish is simultaneously subtle and powerful and leaves you with a taste me your mouth and memory you will not soon forget.

I had such a great time at Tequila Mockingbird! The food was excellent, I especially loved the smokey steak - it’s one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! The cocktails were amazing as well. The atmosphere was cozy and music was also great, and not too loud like in many other places. The staff were attentive and very friendly. It was also very reasonably priced considering how good the food was. I will definitely be coming back for more!

Delicious set menu that left us feeling very satisfied at the end. The tequila mockingbird cocktail was amazing, honestly one of my fav cocktails ever. The potatoes were just perfect. Dessert was quite average though and left more to desire.

Service was excellent, staff were attentive and friendly. Nice layout to the restaurant where diners get to see what goes on behind the scenes in the kitchen.Each of the dishes were very flavourful and the tasting menu we had had a bit of everything which was nice. My favourite was definitely the pork belly tortilla!There was also a large selection of drinks available, love that all drinks can be made non alcoholic when requested.Can't fault this dining experience.

It's a limited menu, but the food is surprisingly tasty and well presented. The service is friendly and the venue is pretty cool. We got a bunch of shared plates which was just enough food, but I would recommend the mains if you're really hungry.
