The best plumbing service I have ever used, as I hope the following snippet demonstrates.Just after noon on the Friday before a long weekend I discovered my hot water service gushing water, geyser like, in the air. More in hope than expectation I phoned Daniel and explained the situation. He was working on a new build at the time and said he would investigate my issue as soon as he had finished.Within the hour Daniel arrived, as he understood I could be without hot water for the three day break. He quickly determined the existing hot water service was beyond repair and ordered a new system.By 3.00pm the new system was installed and the old system was taken away. He was exceptionally proficient at his work and the invoice was more than reasonable.If I could award more than 5 stars I would. I will definitely use Daniel again.

Thought I might share a little story about a recent experience I had which went far beyond the normal call of duty. A couple of weeks ago our hot water system failed again for the second time in a week and so we decided in the best interests of personal hygiene and to ensure we still kept our friends we would replace it with a new hot water system. As it was the day when we had a torrential downfall here it was unlikely that anyone would be available to arrange installation for at least a couple of days. The next day ( Wednesday ) I rang a local plumber who was recommended by a friend of Vanessa's to see if he could install a hot water system by the weekend. He said that he maybe able to arrange installation the following afternoon providing the weather was OK. I said that sounds great and thought we were lucky to find someone who could fit us in at such short notice. Then I got a phone call about half an hour later to say that he could call around this afternoon to install a new system if there would be somebody home. Fortunately I was home so within one hour of originally calling him he was on my front door waiting to install a new hot water system. Fifteen minutes later a van rolled up with the new hot water system and the old system was loaded up for disposal. Within another hour and a half the new system was fully fitted and we had hot water. Everything on his invoice was perfectly itemised, labour was only $240.00 and he was gone within three and a half hours of my original phone call. Unbelievable. So if you live in the Victor Harbor/Goolwa area you would be hard pressed to find a plumber as good as Daniel Hird who is the owner manager of Seaside Plumbing.
