A quick trip here to check it out, we were camping close by at Cobb and Co campgrounds, well worth the visit, clean water would been nice for a swim if wasn’t so cold.

Lovely location especially during a little rain.For those travelling up the road questioning if the gravel road is the correct way, it most likely is as long as you turned off onto Hill Rd from Noosa Rd (should see Equestrian & camping centre)Continuation of Hill Rd past the rock pools has been closed due to flood/storm damage.

Love going to the rock pools with little ones. Haven't had much rain for a while but it was still perfect for cooling off and having an adventure

The water was flowing, refreshingly chilled. Nice depth in the rocks pools for a swim and I loved how child friendly it was in the smaller rock pools. Will definitely be visiting again after a bit of rain to clear the water comes.

Great place to take the kids. The short walking track was nice and easy for our almost 2 year old. The kids had a great time exploring. Good place for a walk, picnic and swim.

Mothar Mountain Rock Pools
Excellent location half an hour out from Gympie for a picnic and play. There are flushing toilets and picnic tables, however, no bins. The walking trail would be good for kids aged 4+ and is easily self navigable. Swimming is probably not ideal, but the rock pools are good and there is lots of rock for cairns.

The pools are really easy to locate just set your GPS and the road ends at the car park. Directly opposite are the pools.There is a toilet block, wood BBQ and a couple of picnic tables.You have two walking tracks one a quick 500m the other 3.5km
