Vetwest Animal Hospitals Cockburn

Had an amazing experience here on Saturday.My usual vet was closed so we booked an appointment here. Dr Toby was our vet and he was great with our aggressive girl who was in a lot pain due to an incident.Today I had a call from one of the receptionist(can't remember her name) who did a follow up on our girl and see how she was doing.Thank you again!!

Money hungry so and so. My dog was put to sleep and then 3 months later they contacted me to say my late dog is due his needles. Heartless. Don’t take your pet here they do care about you or your pet. Money hungry so and so. Go to a private vet. Vet west are rubbish. No apology nothing form the heartless so and so. I hope people take there dog elsewhere. SHAME ON VET WEST. hang your head in shame.

I have taken my boy to Vetwest Cockburn multiple times and they have always been amazing, welcoming and kind and I have never had any doubt about the care he is in. Today we had a bit of an emergency and when I called them to explain the situation and to see if they had any availability the lady at reception was professional, calm and helpful. As soon as we walked in, the receptionist was ready for us and when she took us to the back everyone else was ready and prepared to treat my boy. They were quick and swift and after he was treated, everyone was super informative into what happened, how to avoid and what we should do next.Just want to say a thank you to everyone today for staying calm and taking care of my baby.

I cannot recommend Dr Hui enough. She was patient, thorough and caring during the consult. She prioritised the well-being of my cat and went above and beyond to make sure that he was fully checked out. Thank you!

Literally told my neice and nephew to say goodbye to thier dog as they couldn't help anymore and would cost 1k to keep treatment going and best option was to put her down due to the pain etc she was in. Went for 2nd opinion and $32 of antibiotics later and dog was back to normal

Thank you to the wonderfully caring staff at Vetwest Cockburn for looking after our Nelson throughout his life up till his end. Your professionalism, patience and love need to be commended.

DO not take your pet here.Tried to euthanise my dog or charge me $1000 per night, was told my dog was basically going to die.Took her to another vet and they gave her a $32 packer of antibiotics she was fine 2-3 days later. Absolute joke of a place.Won’t answer your emails or calls won’t refund money.Please save your pets life and don’t use Cockburn VetWest

Please do not take your animals here! One of the worst experiences of my life taking our dog to Cockburn vetwest.Not our usual vet but unfortunately our usual vet was booked out for the day so decided to take our dog to vetwest as we were able to get an appointment.Our dog was lethargic, and having difficulty walking on her back leg, the vet couldn't see anything obviously wrong with her leg so did some blood tests, the blood tests didn't seem to give many answers ( we paid almost $300 for the blood test, they then said we needed to do another blood test & we would need to pay again, to which my husband questioned why can't the same blood just taken be used, to which they said oh yes we can"
