Grand Court Chinese Restaurant
So disappointed with our order. The Pecking Pork colour was almost black and tested so strange. I couldn't even eat it. They other two dishes were barely edible. Considering we drove all day without eating food and ate this at 8:30pm, and we still couldn't find it good. Is it Monday night? I read all Great reviews but for us they were terrible terrible food, will never ever eat there again. I would give 0 star if I could!

We dined in this restaurant last weekend after our day trip from the Perisher Valley. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience in this restaurant. The owner is extremely rude with bad attitude and doesn't have any customer service skills. The waitresses are clueless about what's in the food. Poor communication between people taking the orders and the kitchen. We ordered no meat soups, yet a person from the kitchen brought soups with meat in it and blamed us for not making it clear. The quality of the food are not comparable to the price. The only positive things about this restaurant are food comes fast and location is good. We will not visit this restaurant again.

Person taking the order was friendly and did not hurry me.They do have a credit card surcharge but there is a large, clear sign about this on the counter. Also, the staff member also took the trouble to flag it. This is the standard that all restaurants should follow.Food was nice - hot, fresh, tasted as expected.It does not look like anything special from the outside but sometimes these are the places that surprise the most with good service and food. It was doing a steady trade of takeaway and dine in.

Very disappointing.No vegetarian entree options.5 vegetarian dishes (just cooked without meat) and 1 x omelette.Ate here about 1 year ago with similar experience except there was a group of us and I just persevered with poor options to fit in.The mature female pushed hard for us to stay but couldn’t adjust menus to suit.Better options in town.

Extremely disappointing, pork chops mainly just pieces of fat deep fried in batter/oil that tasted like it was a year old. Plum sauce burnt and bitter…. Never again. As for all these other 5 star ratings I call b’shit #fake

Sooo delicious and great portions. Also got a small discount being a motel guest which was a bonus and unexpected. We got special fried rice, Peking pork chops, salt and pepper squid (which is pretty spicy) and Asian greens with broccoli. Perfect feed after the 24km Kosciusko hike!

We visited the grand court Chinese resteraunt after driving 3 and a half hours from Eden to Canberra and thought we would stop on the trip home. The customer service was amazing by the young waitress Amber, amber was really accommodating and friendly unfortunately a meal which we had ordered was like drinking a bowl of soy sauce. We ordered another soup in exchange of the disappointing meal. After the first soup being un eatable the manager had dipped her finger in our soup out in the open several times before abusing us at our table. “ why did you not eat it, you made us throw it out” when she actually had offered it to a staff member. The manager refused to make us another soup when we were willing to pay for all meals weather eaten or not. The manager needs to learn a thing or two from amber. We explained to the manager that hot and sour soup was supposed to be a orangey clear colour when we were served with it being full black.very disappointing, do not recommend.it deserved no stars

Good country town Chinese food. Friendly staff as expected in the country, fast service & delivery to the motel. Convenient location also. Loved the prawn omelette, stir fried veges & rice. Comfort food reminiscent of my childhood :)f.y.i Discovered prawn chips are excellent long drive snacks :P
