Great portion, fresh fish & chips. A combination of a seafood box and a fish fillet would feed two hungry adults for sure. A seafood box even would be enough for two half-full adults.

Red Hot Cod offers a good selection of Australian, Wild caught fish, something that's becoming rare to see these days. The grilled Snapper was perfectly cooked with a light herb mixture that doesn't overpower the great tasting fish.Hot chips were sufficient and tasty.I also tried the calamari, they could do with more calamari filling inside the batter, otherwise another good selection.

This place was great when it opened but has gone downhill fast. Shrinkflation springs to mind. Paid $81 (including 10% extra because it's the weekend!) For 2 x snapper and chips a Greek salad and 4 tiny Whiting bites. Not impressed and won't be going back.

Sweet front of house lady - found out her name is Christina- who goes out of her way to accommodate. She's amazing and needs a raise! Also the sweet potato fries are the best will get them everytime.

Great snapper and local reef fish. Highly recommend the grilled version!Nice salads to go with and veggie options which are largely vegan (checked with staff), including poke and bali bowls.

We have a dairy allergy & very specifically ordered grilled fish without any butter but when we got home, all 3 pieces were covered in butter. Very expensive dinner gone in the bin.$100 for what was supposed to be a quick & easy fish & chip take away dinner & it was all very unsatisfying. Will never be back.

Best battered fish I've had in a while! My English husband actually thought so too so that's saying something. Chips were nice and crunchy too. A bit dissapointed though as it was right on the hour of cut off time for the $5 fish and chips and it wasn't honoured. Maybe next time. Service was good and quick.

We brought the fisherman’s basket for 4-6 people for $88 I love the pumpkin salad with quinoa that came with it. I also love that they have little tartar sauce and sweet chilli sauce complimentary.We loved the chips although we requested extra chicken salt and when we left noticed there was little to none. Which was disappointing. The prawn, calamari and fish were delicious. The seafood stick tasted a bit funny, the texture was quite grainy so could’ve been off that was all 4 seafood sticks unfortunately. But the rest of the meal was delicious.Service was very slow.

I've seen all the positive feedback, but for me just didn't hit the mark.Maybe it's what I ordered, (crumbed whiting, chips and potato scallops) but didn't sit well in the stomach and after nibbling a quarter I didn't have the rest.Scallops were greasy and one was so hard couldn't chew through it, with chips kind of starchy and raw in the centre.The lemon didn't go the distance so would order more if your getting fish, or byo. Sauce serving quite generous. Staff were nice. Monday 27 Feb.
