Jodi Harrison's Swim Central - New Town

Both my girls have been swimming here for over a year and I'm just so pleased with our experience. We've had lessons elsewhere, but the teachers and sequence here at Jodi's are great. They're also incredibly accommodating, friendly and helpful behind the desk too!

My wife sent an inquiery about booking learn to swim lessons for our 4 month old daughter, and was contacted via phone from the swim centre. The lady on the phone said that they had a spot available and told us the date and time. My wife expressed interest in it saying that she'd love to do it, but our daughter started sooking so my wife was told to call back once our child had settled, to confirm details. Less than 20 minutes later, my wife rang back to confirm the details, but was told that we had been booked over in that time, despite the fact that we were committed to doing the lessons, and was told to by the swim centre themselves to call back to confirm.

All 3 of my children learnt to swim at Swim Central. My youngest loved her time here so much that she continued to swim moving into Club and swimming competitively.I was so impressed with the standard of swimming and the friendly and helpful nature of everyone that I decided to join the team.With my time as a Mum and my time working here (having a few years overlapping) I’ve been a part of the swim central family for 20 years now. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Have been doing aqua aerobics with Jodi for many years now. Everyone is so friendly - staff and patrons. Classes are great for fitness and fun! I love the salt water pool. It is always lovely and clean and warm! As well as being a great place, prices are very reasonable with a discount for seniors. What more could you ask for ... oh, maybe heated changerooms on a cold winter's day? No need, they have them too!!!

Our kids have been having lessons at Swim Central for several years now. They love it and have made so much progress. As beginners they gained confidence very quickly once they could stand up in the relatively shallow small pool, which suited them much better than the previous places we tried where their lessons were in deep water. The teachers are all lovely and professional, and with only 2 classes running at a time there is not the sense of churn-and-burn you can get at other swim schools. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

We have loved bringing our son here! Started with the free lesson for 4-6 months and then jumped on a waitlist for term lessons. We were so excited when we got the call that there was a spot!!Jodi, Michelle and the entire team have been incredible and have made our sons introduction to the water such a positive experience. He loves his lessons with Jodi and we’re so appreciative that he is learning how to be safe in the water with such a caring instructor.We have and will recommend this swim school to everyone. We’re grateful to be a part of it.

Jodi is far beyond any swim teacher we have ever had for our kids, she makes swimming so fun and being in the pool such a joy for the little ones! We love having consistency and routine so it took us a term or two to get used to booking in for the next block but we love it here! There is a strong sense of community and the pool/areas are kept very clean, all the staff and instructors are just the loveliest people, thank you for having us and for making us feel so welcome ~ Tara (the Hall family)

If you're looking for a fun, family friendly environment to teach your baby, toddler, or child to swim this is it! The staff here really love children.The pools here are heated to just the right temperature for your child to have a comfortable waddle or swim. Soft-padded seats are located right near the pool for extra family members who just want to relax, or watch, as your child learns to navigate the water.Parent room is available on-site as well, as male/female changing rooms, so that you can enjoy a hot shower before or after you've taken a dip. If you need swim nappies, or if you've forgotten to bring a towel, don't worry, you can buy these from the reception.We really enjoyed our time at Jodi Harrison's Swim Central. Exceptional, friendly service. I chose Jodi Harrison's Swim Central because of the warm, personal attention I received from my very first phone call to meeting the friendly and happy staff on arrival. All clients are made to feel valued and special. Staff were flexible and obliging when I had to change bookings to different days.Thanks again to all the incredible team. Can't speak highly enough.
