4.4 stars is a bit rich for this place. The food is tasteless, worse than a Coles premix and this is an understatement. When asked if the samosas contain gluten, they responded no they don't and that they are made with plain flour which says it all. If the chef and owner don't know what contains gluten, they are probably unworthy of cooking for others especially celiacs.

This has to be the best curry i have eaten in years, i can highly recommend Ajmers fried chicken with mint dip :-) and the onion bhaji's are light and fluffy. i'm not going to lie, we eat here at least 2/3 times a month and we love it. always great services :-)

Ajmer's Indian Restaurant Balgowlah
As an Indian having just moved to the Northern Beaches Ive been looking a good curry. Well one day I ordered home delivery from Ajmer Balgowlah. This is the best Indian food I have had around here, and I would say this is now in my top 5 Indian restaurants in Sydney. Excellent food.

Bad experience, I ordered delivery through door dash, after I complete the order the staff called me using mobile phone saying they don't have driver and they couldn't deliver. But the door dash apps can not be cancelled and keep showing they prepare the food and progressing with delivery and showing they were heading deliver to my place, when I checked my account they took the money and my door dash credit money. I had guests at home for dinner and keep waiting because the apps showing they were on the way and the mobile number they called me did not answered when I call back want to confirm if the food cancelled or proceed, very very frustrated. After waiting for one hour food did not turn out . I was very embarrassed to my guest ....very very upset and frustrating.

Ajmer's Indian Restaurant Balgowlah
I went back here after a long time of being away and I was blown away by the service. We ordered 3 entrees 2 mains and 2 naan for a celebratory dinner for my wife and I. They timed the meal immaculately. Its so difficult to do entrees as well as ajamers did. The first came out about 7 mins after ordering when we finished there is a break for about 5 mins before the next dish came out. It is so clear that the wait staff are watching your progress and timing that next dish to perfection. And the flavour! My God the colours and textures just incredible. The tandoor source. Wow. The fried chicken entrees in particular was superb. Unbelievably good service. Well done.

Very rare that Indian food in Australia is any good, even rarer that pretty much everything is gluten free. Fantastic restaurant, great staff too

Oh how I love coming here! The food is nothing like other restaurants out here having a full authentic flavour! Service is quick the price is way too reasonable. My favourite dish is definitely the butter chicken hands down!
