Very busy bakery as a lot of locals get their pies here. Great pies, friendly service. Building has been refurbished inside and out. Not open Saturdays and Sundays.

Absolutely lovely staff but awful pies. A few bites then chucked them. Mashed potato on top tasted like it was out of a packet, pastry soggy, and weirdly my one tasted minty. Not like fresh mint but mint flavouring. Husband's pie was cold in the middle and had uncooked bacon. Ten out of ten for service with a smile, but don't eat the food.

2nd favourite pie shop, different style compared, crust and pastry was thicker and filling. Try both, both are good just depends on what you like. Good friendly service.

Filthy floors, cold pies and sausage rolls, staff who clearly don't want to be there and rude owners to top it all off.

Pies are the best in town.. pastry not too thick and meat has old fashioned flavour. Also friendly service.
