Holy hell, the food, atmosphere and drinks are amazing at this place. Unbelievably good, tiny bit pricey, but beautiful. The Uncle Bok’s pancakes are a must try.

Great kitsch atmosphere, delicious cocktails (the tiramisu), food hit and miss - the gnocchi wasn't gnocchi, instead it was very bland pasta, and the dipping sauce for cauliflower was in a cup, suggest you use a small bowel next time, more hygienic and easier to try and fish out crumbly cauliflower

Always love coming here, Slovak schnitzel is my fav! Cocktails are always great too! I’ve brought my family a few times and my Aunty mentioned the dumplings tasted the same as how my grandmother would make them. I would definitely recommend to everyone!

Had the Bottomless Brunch with a few friends. The food was amazing, the drinks were very yummy;), and the staff were lovely. Thank you for a great afternoon.

Probably the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a food & drink venue. Terrible service, we waiting over 15 minutes to be seated, 45 minutes for cocktails and we never even received our food. They offered a refund after we asked as they hadn’t even started the order after an hour. Wasn’t even busy inside. The manager was nice but the other worker at the bar had no idea which table was ordering food or drinks, and was rude when we had to get her attention. Highly recommend Jimmy’s across the road instead

Moomin is on The lower end of Crown Street in Wollongong and it’s a little gem that is definitely worth checking out.The theme is Czech home style food and there is a lot of great dishes on offer.The dumplings are my favourite but there is less exotic options for those without an adventurous streak including loaded fries and good old schnitzel.There is an equally impressive drinks menu and the cocktails all come in varying types of interesting glasses and cups. Some are served on grandmas China which looked hilarious in the hands of my rather stout truck driving friend but it all adds to the fun of the dining experience.Don’t forget to pay a buck for a duck and get a very cute little rubber ducky in one of your cocktails to take home as a souvenir.The only down side was that even though the staff were very friendly I felt that they were under the pump and understaffed. The service suffered because of this and we had some meals come out at weird and wonderful times. Nevertheless I will definitely be back again and would recommend Moominn to anyone looking for a fun and tasty dining experience.

I’m only 20 minutes in but feel compelled to comment. Great service, great music that’s loud enough to enjoy but quiet enough to have a civilised conversation, and a fascinating cocktail list. Unless I get a lobotomy in the near future, I’ll definitely come back here over the other nearby options for alcoholic beverages and music

A beautiful, charismatic dining experience. There is so much to look at and admire whilst eating delicious food & enjoying creative cocktails. Highly recommend this place.
