A female only fitness centre. I have been a client of Aliento for nearly 5 years. Following is my honest opinion and from my own experience. I have found Aliento an absolutely fabulous fitness studio for every women regardless of age and fitness. Aliento's studio is fully equipped with 6 Shapemaster beds and 6 Shapemaster chairs, and 4 whole body vibration machines. This latest Shapemaster equipment assists with Pilates base parallel movements if you are seeking rehabilitation from an injury or a gentle and gradual increase to a fitter, flexible, stronger and toned you.As I progressed through my customized program the intensity of Shapemaster was increased, and the introduction to a higher degree of strength training with the aid of various sand weights, resistant straps, balance boards, push ups, and more all added to a variable physical routine for me.All this meanwhile is under close guidance from Allison and her all female team who are fully trained with Shapemaster equipment.Their encouragement and support is truly appreciated in helping me reach my personal goals, to achieve my personal best and to challenge myself.There is a weight loss program available to clients, also an active social group with weekly coffee mornings, and monthly movie dates. Also available is a Vibrosauna, this is a dry sauna in a private room for your own privacy and relaxation. Great to assist in relieving any chronic aches or pain and helps boost circulation.I thoroughly enjoy my workouts, love the vibe, feel great. I am fitter at 64 than when I was 44. I have met wonderful women and made great friends. I phoned Aliento for a free 60 min trial almost 5 years ago. It's the best thing I have done for myself. I first went to Aliento in January when I bought a two-week unlimited Groupon voucher. I really liked the experience so I joined. On my second visit I got measured. Today, after 20 sessions, I got measured again and the results were amazing! I lost 3 kilos in two months, and a whopping 27.5 cm overall - mostly the core where I lost between 3 and 5 cms in certain areas! My reach-stretch has increased by 2 cm. I am so over the moon but it is not just about the numbers. I hadn’t set foot in a ‘gym’ for nearly 20 yrs and Aliento is the perfect fit. Small studio, just for women, no mirrors and no competition. Different workouts means no monotony, and I like that I am shown new exercises every time. I particularly enjoy the vibromassage machines!The staff is amazing, encouraging, friendly and knowledgeable.My membership allows me to go for two sessions a week - it is the highlight of my week. I so enjoy going, the atmosphere is friendly :)It's excellent!

Wanted something different to do went on a trail very friendly and welcoming all the staff very helpful and all the clients lovely highly recommended have more energy then I have had for a while

Great place to work as hard as I want to.

I joined Aliento 2 months ago after driving past and seeing a poster that caught my interest. As I have a sore knee and am scared of doing any damage to it I felt a gym wasn't the place for me ( been there ..done that).So after a google search I decided to give Aliento a try. To my delight I was greeted by friendly staff and made feel comfortable and welcome. The workout on the machines is in circuit form and you are able to work to your ability. The gorgeous staff encourage you but always respect your choices and are always mindful of any injuries you may have.I have done 22 sessions of enjoyable exercise and from day 1 have felt the benefits. My knee although still sore is less stiff and I feel overall better. To my delight I have lost 37cms and 3.2kgs.I look foward to my hour of me"time a few times a week and am so pleased that I made a choice to be a member of such a fantastic group of women.Thankyou Alison and all the staff you make Aliento a place where I want to be."
