Superb flake, fresh and perfectly cooked. And ... open on a Monday!

Not sure why people are giving 4-5 stars for this place. I didn't find the fish & chips amazing but the battered fish were generous in portion size.

My wife and I recently visited this fish & chip shop for the first time, attracted by the rave reviews we had heard about their quality food. While we were impressed with the deliciousness of their fish and chips, we found ourselves a bit let down by the customer service aspect of our experience.As first-time customers, we had a few questions about the menu. However, the staff seemed rather short and slightly intimidating when we approached them with our queries. This made my wife feel uncomfortable and awkward, which was a shame because we had come in with high hopes of this shop.Despite the less-than-welcoming atmosphere, I took it upon myself to place the order. The menu options were extensive, offering a variety of fish choices and a range of sides. We opted for the classic Barramundi and chips, kebab & some sides, which all turned out delicious . The fish was perfectly cooked, with a crisp and golden batter, while the chips were piping hot and well-seasoned. It was evident that the quality of the food was indeed top-notch.Although the customer service left much to be desired, we couldn't deny the fact that the food itself was excellent. The flavors were fantastic, and it was clear that they used fresh ingredients in their preparations. The portion sizes were generous, leaving us feeling satisfied and content.Despite the slight setback with the customer service, we would be willing to give this place another chance solely because of the outstanding food they serve. However, we hope that they can work on improving their approachability and friendliness towards customers, particularly newcomers like us. A warm and welcoming atmosphere would enhance the overall experience and encourage us to return.

The chips and potato cakes are great, the grilled flake was overcooked and tough while the battered was much better. Avoid the hamburgers as they are tasteless with meat you would find in a budget sausage roll.

Great battered flake. Good fresh portion, nice batter. Terrible chips... dry tasteless powder. Was great several months ago but gone down hill. Would go back for the fish.

I recently got fish and chips here for my family for lunch and we were blown away by the chips, home made fried dim sims and potato cakes.

By far the BEST fish & chips around the entire area. Hamburgers are fantastic, fish is fresh and scrumptious, chips and potato cakes are delicious without being greasy. Cannot say enough. I keep going back. Highly recommend.
