Laurie and his team provided all the electrical work on our house renovation. Laurie is a delight to work with - friendly and always smiling. He had good ideas and suggestions and always made sure we understood what was happening and any cost involved. Laurie and his team are highly professional and clearly get on well together. They’re reliable,efficient and hard workers and we’d have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to others.

Monaco Electrical installed power to our new smart gate and relocated a hard to access aerial point at our new home. The service was fantastic. The guys arrived on time and managed to get the job done despite some real challenges in accessing the wiring. Their service and expertise is first class.

I self manage a rental property from interstate and , in the face of fidgeless tenants, have been preyed upon by unscrupulous sparkies who over the phone paint a potentially catastrophic picture that they can fix immediately for an astromical round figure. Laurie is an honest, plain speaking, good tradesman who will always let you opt for a safe, cheap short term solution while letting you know what more costly work may need doing in future. He is also kind and considerate with occupants, making sure mutually convenient appointments are made and honoured. Give him work and avoid flashier sharks!An anecdote: tenants regularly lose power in the kitchen. Nameless sparkie, (to whom six months earlier I forked out a nice round $2K to install a new circuit to same kitchen ) suggests house could burn down without an entirely new board which he can fortunately do “ on the spot” for $3.5K. Turned nasty when I said I wanted another quote. Laurie has a look and finds the problem: an old dodgey toaster. Charges modest call out fee.

I have only wonderful things to say about Laurie and his workers at Monaco Electrical. For three weeks prior to COVID-19 I was having trouble with my electricity tripping. As my husband was in QLD, I had no idea how to sort out what was happening. I was on the phone to my husband in tears on a daily basis. Laurie and his young family are my neighbours who I had only met recently. I reached out to Laurie and asked if it was at all possible for him to have a look at it for me. To his credit he dropped everything and came and did an initial assessment and gave me tips on how to isolate the problem on the internal power board and give him feedback on what was happening. Two days later Laurie turned up with his third and first year apprentices and didn't leave until three hours later after he had found and fixed the problem. I am in a complex of units so from my layperson's observation, it wasn't an easy task. As if that wasn't enough Laurie insisted that I only pay him enough to cover his workers $228.22 As I am a student I was so grateful, he could have charged me a lot more. I would also like to add that the professional approach that Laurie and his team took and the leadership and support that Laurie gave to his two workers was exemplary. Laurence and his team completed all the electrical work on our home renovation 2 years ago and they did a fantastic job. Laurence had great ideas and all of the team were extremely professional, reliable and friendly throughout. So when we had a powerpoint damaged due to a faulty appliance we gave them a call. Laurence answered straight away and was able to organise one of his electricians to come out within the hour. It was all fixed in no time and again with friendly and professional service. I would highly recommend them for any electrical work.

This is especially important when doing a large renovation as we were. He and his team did an especially good job at hanging some tricky pendant lights which we really appreciated!

The service from Monaco Electrical was exceptional. Laurence arrived on time to assess the electrical problem I had. He then arranged for the repairs to be done as soon as possible. Soon after purchasing a new apartment I discovered the oven wasn't working, one of the lights was broken, and I decided I wanted to move a power socket and tv aerial point to better suit the room layout. I contacted Laurence at Monaco Electrical and within about an hour he had come round to gather information to quote me for the work. The same day he sent round one of his electricians, Jon, and an apprentice to get the repairs done and we booked in a time for the socket relocation. I was really impressed with how quickly everything happened, especially since it was mid-December which I know is a busy time of year. I also then requested some additional work to install a new pendant light and a ceiling fan. Everyone I came into contact with was really helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend!
