Icon Footwear

I've been visiting Icon the last three years when visiting Hobart, for their amazing selection of great-looking, high quality and functional shoes. In particular I go for the German brand Trippens, which are architectural works of art and comfort. Last time I checked, Icon are the ONLY stockists in Australia, so it's a real privilege to be able to try from their curated selection. On each occasion the staff have been knowledgeable and helpful, with really genuine beautiful personalities. This is a must-do for any visitors, and a real gem for those lucky enough to live locally. I'll see you next Dark Mofo!

I've been shopping here for years, and a recent experience purchasing some gorgeous boots really cemented how much I like what Icon Footwear offers. Service is fantastic with staff who know me and give me terrific advice, products are always the finest quality, and the after care is amazing - Icon repair and give great advice on care and extending the life of your shoes.It's a fantastic place to get shoes. I'll be shopping here well into the future.

Absolutely terrible service. Person working there is incredibly rude. Had decided to save up and buy a good pair of shoes" to support my flat feet. After only 6 weeks of regular walking around the city the fronts of both my shoes have disintegrated. I did not kick anything out of the ordinary or do anything else that would not be considered normal wear and tear that happens when you walk. I went to find out what I can do to stop it happening (wasn't requesting a refund or anything) and essentially got told in a very rude manner that it was my fault and I had done it on purpose! If I wanted it fixed I would have to pay more. All she offered was to re glue it

The shoes at Icon are extraordinary. Beautiful styling, lush materials but what is even better is the customer service.I had 2 ladies looking after me and they are really invested in providing quality customer service and they care!

I went into Icon Footwear today and got amazing service, despite walking in half an hour before closing. The staff member who assisted me was in the middle of something else but stopped their task to see if I needed any assistance and then spent the next twenty minutes helping me find a shoe that suited my needs. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and they were patient and personable. Thanks Icon Footwear!

Avoid. Believe the negative reviews. And just look at management's responses to those. Tells you everything you need to know.From my recent transaction with them on the phone, this is a try it in the shop/buy it online situation.Their service skills show that they are not interested in making any leeway for local customers. So why support them as a local business?Detail: General staff is ok but management is incredibly poor. I called to make a hold on a pair of shoes and was told I could do so and that I would be in within the next 2 days. The agent on the phone who was back and forth with the manager said that she (the manager) do that took. The agent took my details but then said, after the manager interjected again, if anybody was to come in and ask for that size they would sell it to them.To which I answered, That is not a hold. Not to worry

A hidden gem.Icon Footwear always look after my feet, ensuring that they’re comfortably tucked away in the most beautiful shoes. The service is super friendly and I can not recommend enough. Do your feet a favour and visit this shop as soon as possible!

Great range of shoes and very helpful staff. I was most impressed by the fact that they stocked spare laces, shoe creams etc and were therefore able to supply everything I needed.
