Multiple negative experiences here. Eventually had my issue resolved with a straight forward day surgery at a hospital in frankston 4 years after it started by seeking healthcare over there even though it was a pain to drive out so far.I wouldn't come to warragul hospital again for any reason.

Spent the day in ER and short stay . The doctor treating me was rude and unhelpful. I had to visit my gp to ask questions as the doctor was too rude to talk to.

Words are not enough to thank the wonderful staff. Both my husband and I have attended this hospital on several occasions and we received exceptional care every time. It would be great if the hospital had more government funding to facilitate greater resources - in time this will come. Fantastic health care and we are so grateful to have this hospital.

The staff were very helpful when I visited for a radiology appointment. They even contacted my GP clinic to get the request after I misplaced the form. There wasn't much of a wait time either. It was a very quick and enjoyable experience there.

Terrible multiple experiences in this hospital.Triage nurse extremely rude and level of care from doctors is poor.Last time I went in with gall bladder issues, the lovely nurses overnight were caring and advised they felt I needed further testing, then the doctor came in the morning and said nope see your GP, saw the GP and they said I should be in emergency. My partner has been in today with spinal pain, possible work injury and they have made him wait 6 hours in agony to give him a prescription and sent him home with no checks. The level of concern for peoples pain is next to none. I heard the triage nurse say (well they drove here so can’t be that bad) about my partner…. Yes I drove him so the ambulances were free for other people that may be about to die. That does not mean his pain is not relevant especially in his spine. Absolute joke, do yourselves a favour, if you is want real help go to a different hospital. Night nurses on the emergency ward fantastic, that’s about it. Everyone else is extremely rude.

A nurse in the emergency room literally cracked it and stormed off when my family member voiced her right to refuse a medical procedure she was anxious about but which the hospital could not give her local anaesthetic for without holding up the entire process. My family member was holding back tears by the end of this experience. A more empathetic or at least professional doctor then came in and we compassionately reassured her and the procedure was done with her consent.Experiences like these just confirm people’s fear of going to a regional hospital.

My pregnant partner had minor bleeding so went to emergency just in case. Without any tests or examination the nurse told her she is ‘probably’ having a miscarriage. Was informed there was nobody there to do an ultra sound so they had to get someone in, would be at least 30 mins (this is at 9pm). Over 2 hours later we asked for an update and were told nobody can do it until the morning. If we didn’t enquire we would of sat there all night for no reason. Next morning went to Capitol Radiology for an ultra sound, baby is 100%. Thanks for the unnecessary stress and no help.

I came into Warragul hospital twice with extreme lower abdomen pain. The first time they did a urine test gave me some endone and sent me home the second time I waited in the waiting room for 5 hours with my partner and then they sent me home without even seeing me or giving me any pain relief even though I went upto the desk multiple times complaining about my pain. I went into Casey one day later and was admitted because of a ruptured appendicitis that had been ruptured for about a week as there was a lot of poison that had built up inside and I was very sick. I could have lost my life because Warragul didn’t bother to check over me or even do a simple physical examination.
