Point Walter Reserve
An iconic sandgropers location to view & remind oneself of just how special Perth is...pick your time as the tide affects the distance you can walk out on the sand bar. Plenty of historical information printed nearby & incredible views across the dark Swans water. That same night I watched on TV a Noongar dance troupe practising on this very same spot; I hope this is a sign of things to come.

Beautiful spot - a number of small 'beaches' where kids can paddle in the river. Good blue shade pavilions.

A glorious mix of leaves and human litter, dog unfriendly, so no surprise there was more human s#it than dog s#it in the bushes surrounding the park. Hardly any of the park bench seating is in the shade, although shady trees available to sit under if you bring you own chairs, or dont mind parking your bum on the grass to be eaten by ants. Grotty toilets. Needs a refresh. The end on to view" signage on the road in does indeed forewarn you "no dogs"

Nice spot for an outing. Good coffee & food options. Plenty of space for picnics in the warmer weather.

Good place for family and kids. Nice beach, easy parking. Toilets are mostly broken. Door locks not working. Dirty toilets, needs to be looked after better. Busy on school holidays and weekends

Point Walter Reserve
Very good place for camping, enough space for everyone even in a holiday. Big parking with slots for boat trailers. Many water sport activities.Minus: there is only one double BBQ stove for whole park

Point Walter Reserve
Such a beautiful spot. This place is our go to when there’s a south westerly blowing. You can often catch some shade near the water so the kids can play in the shade + the water. Stunning place to chill out for an arvo.Gets crowded in the summertime, but during the off months it can be very quiet but still just as pleasant as summer.Top place

Greet place for a picnic, or just catching up with friends , got bbq and also a company who rent different things to have fun on the swan river . Or if the tide let you walk the sand bank into the swan river
