Sharing my thoughts after purchasing a Safety Excel top of range 3 seater bench for my van, $3k fitted for people looking to buy. The seat is not engineered as well as a factory seat in your car, it's a simple built budget seat. The finish resembles this, thin padding, easily marking fabric. When you look at a headrest the staples holding the fabric on are visible. The locking mechanism is a metal hook, if nobody is sitting on the seat weighing it down it rattles. I optioned the bed fold,head and arm rests. When the seat is in the reclined bed position the headrest plastic trims six of them dig into your body, as do the metal seat belt aligners Not sleep able. The arm rests are up or down and 300mm long. Did i mention the rattles. However it does seat 3 people. i will give 3 stars for this

Had Techsafe seat fitted to my Hiace van a few months ago (fitted and engineered by a company down in Melbourne) and while it certainly was not cheap, it is comfortable and has all of the features you'd ever need such as arm rests, head rests and infant seat anchor points. The way it folds out of the way is also pretty ingenious, meaning I can still easily carry cargo when needed.My final bit of positive feedback is that I found the infant seat I had purchased would not fit very well because the buckle of the seat is a little long, meaning it was not possible to get tight. I gave Techsafe a call and within a couple of days, they'd supplied me with a shorter buckle that solved the issue! Very happy customer!

I bought a Techsafe seat swivel for my 2021 Toyota Hiace van as part of a camper conversion. The company was easy to deal with and delivered the item to my door within a few days. Instructions were clear and the YouTube video made the whole fitting process easy. I had the lot finished in an hour. Well engineered, this quality product is brilliant.
