It's clean and comfortable, the food is very good, no wifi available, so best make sure that you have a good phone and service provider before you get here.. The rooms are all dongas with thin walls and squeaky beds. It has a free self-serve laundry and 2 gyms and a rec room..

I found the dinners very average, not very appetizing when 4 out of 5 nights was not nice. But they are just feeding miners so don't think they care.

I'd rather stay in Auschwitz. Food there is worse than prison food ,Chief's are bloody useless ex crims i think it starts of edible then thay turn it into slop. Saw one chief or kitchen hand pick 2 flies out of the noodles with bare hands .Miners Rest 100% better yes you have to go to another camp for meals but the meals are 200% better it tastes like how it should be .Rosewood is perfect for a central qld jail.Also the not so pleasant receptionist on check-in has a attitude.Stayed in many camps and this is the worst.You may say it's a harsh review but would you rather me lie ?

No Wifi and the mobile coverage is atrocious. Don't expect to be able to have a video call with the kids after work.Rooms are all raised with attracted walkways which seem to echo every footstep so don't expect a good night's sleep either I'm afraid.Food is acceptable and the staff are all very friendly so with camp wifi it would be bearable.

It's not too bad for a camp. It's very basic, but it's definitely not the worst camp I've stayed in.

Rooms a little on the small side not very well insulated but clean and tidy. If your not perminant you will have to bring out your lunch boxes because they don't supply take away containers, but the food is above average on their special nights like fish and chip Friday's/seafood night.

Rooms are very spacious, beds are kingsingle, modern furnishings, bedding is always fresh. Food is absolutely delicious! The best camp I ever stayed!
