Glass Manifesto

We spent nearly 2 hours entranced, watching Peter and Anne working together to produce an exquisite piece of glass art - they were very generous with their time and energy all the while, and happily gave us a tour of their workshop and answered all our questions (adults and teens too). Our visit to Glass Manifesto was an absolute highlight of our holiday in Tasmania, and we were very happy to bring home a beautiful piece as a momento.

if you visit Tasmania and go anywhere near Launceston, you have to visit Glass Manifesto. Some of the loveliest glass art you will ever see, made by two of the nicest people you will ever meet. It's all relaxed and informal. Watch glass art being made and the process explained, or just chat to Peter and Anne about what they do. Swoon over the glassware! Kids will love this, but so will adults. We loved our visit and consider it the highlight of our trip this year.

Welcoming, warm and informative. Thank you Anne and Peter my sisters and I enjoyed every moment of our visit. Sweet Flora is very happy in her new home. They even make you a fabulous cup of coffee if you are very well behaved. Gracious hosts and amazing glass artists. Well worth a visit.

Wow! Peter and Anne what a beautiful artistic shop u have! Anne greeted us at the door and couldn’t show us how they made their pieces but she did explain the process and answered all my questions. You can see why they are in high demand all over the world! I just had to get on Facebook and tell everyone it is well worth the visit. All pieces are hand made and exquisite to view! All items were well priced for the work that goes into each and everyone of them! I just loved the whole feel of the place and the friendliness! Thankyou Anne and Peter for ur beautiful art work! I hope u can pass this trade on to keep this art going as it’s not seen a lot these days!!

Anne and Peter make the most incredible pieces of art. They was very welcoming showing and explaining in detail of how they created all their work with us. Highly recommend everyone to pay a visit to there new workshop!Can’t wait to purchase more pieces off them.

Called in just for a look. Absolutely Stunning pieces! and no pressure which is always a win.. Will definitely call in next time too - hopefully it is a day they are creating.

What a wonderful chance visit - and what talent!!!The host - Nancy-Anne kindly explained the workshop and that we could view the glass-work in progress by talented artists - Peter Bowles and Anne Clifton provided we kept quiet! VERY happy to oblige :)Dropped back a little later (Peter has just completed work on a four hour piece) and was able to take their portrait.I have little knowledge of this form of art, but was blown away (no pun intended) by the simply stunning works…If ever in Launceston - drop in and check it out - so worth the visit and to see talented artists perform their skills.
