If ya havnt been ya gotta take the drive there, beautiful scenery the train ride fantastic grab some boiled lollies or coffee from the little coffee shop just a great day road trip out the pub there has amazing huge meals great value sit outside amougst the bush and birds .

Walhalla Band Rotunda
Walhalla is a little gem nestled in the hills north of Traralgon. An historic picturesque village from the Gold Rush days, a boom town in the 1800's it went bust in the 1900's and was all but deserted. The rotunda is one of many buildings either restored or faithfully reproduced. Some good cafes and good walks.

This is exactly what the *near centre* of this historic township needed! The views from the Rotunda are a little bit hindered by the corner that it is found on; however, the views to the West are great and will help you enjoy sunset throughout Walhalla. The last time I went there the local bandies were actually using it!! Which created an awesome atmosphere through this old township and complimented the natural serenity that this area is surrounded by.

What an amazing place to visit in regional Victoria. It’s an historic city. Just make sure you you don’t go there on Monday and Tuesday as all the restaurants will be closed on those two days.
