Touring the high country and thought I'd pop in to get meat for 3 nights. Changed my mind when the butchers had smeared sausage mince all along the side of a car and camper that was parked too long" at the front of their shop.They claimed it wasn't them but we later spoke to a gentleman who saw them do it. Very poor show and there was no excuse for it."

Love our local butcher. Everything we've purchased has been great. Do yourself a favour and buy a tray of the rissoles. Fancy no, trendy nope, healthy not particularly but... hands down the juiciest rissoles you'll ever eat.

Called into Omeo High Country Meats. LOVLEY clean shop great service and was extremely happy with the butcher that served me. He explained to me about buying bulk really does save your moneyWere else could you buy farm fresh free range scotch fillet for only $24.99kg Bulk buy he did explain that buying bulk was cheaper and it turned out heaps cheaper. So I recommend this butcher to everyone call in and say hi to all the friendly staff. I will definitely be back guys.

As a non local I was clearly earmarked as a soft touch.I kg of Scotch 1 cm thick, 6 marinated pork ribs and a 2 inch piece of Strasbourg was $71 dollars. I heard Russell tell the local the scorch was $25 a kg.Anyway Russell gave me a one dollar discount (we paid in cash).I smiled as I left knowing I had donated to a bushfire region I would never go back to this butcher and make sure everyone knows beware.
