Brisbane Akikai is a genuine institution for the subtle art of aikido in QLD and Australia (& beyond). The instructors are warm and generous people dedicated to providing insightful classes and helping students get the most out of studying this art. The club attracts members from all walks of life across a range of ages. New and prospective students are always warmly welcomed and assisted no matter what previous martial arts or training experience they have previously had. Everyone at the club understands the journey and will help you along the way.

I highly recommend Brisbane Akikai! I really enjoy training here and the instructors are all so wonderful to learn from. It is a really welcoming place where you are constantly encouraged to learn and keep going.

Very good Aikido Dojo with very experienced and generous Senseis.Dojo has many classes include Kids Aikido, Iaido & Jodo. Dojo has plenty of Tatami training space and and has easy access from Brisbane CBD

Best dojo I have ever been part of. They even have a children class. Unusual for Aikido.
