Nail Palace -Camberwell

This was my first time at this place as I used to go a regular one in South Melbourne. I am very unhappy with the nails. I almost cried looking at my nails there is bump in it and its not even shaped properly. I asked them are you sure they said it will dry which didn’t even make sense. I spend $60 but not happy. Just because they have other customers waiting doesn’t mean they ruin it. Never ever coming back. Worst experience.This is the one in Burke road Camberwell.

I find it so frustrating that every time I go to a nail place, including Shen nails, is that I get a different service every time. Sometimes I get a foot massage sometimes I don't. If it's busy the job is always rushed and never lasts as long and making an appointment makes no difference. If nail salons just had allocated people who only did appointments and a few who looked after walk ins and ensured the service is the exact same every single time- they would be more successful! Not a hard business strategy to follow but I am yet to find a nail salon who operates like this. I hope this feedback is taken on board.

As soon as I walked into this place I felt really bad, I never got that look on me and my 2 year old. I don't know if it was my skin color or what, but she looked me up and down in a very intimidating way. My son said hi, smiled, as usual this lady didn't answer anything and gave him a weird look. Then she asked twice, rudely Yes.. Pause..YEEESS.. and then I said manicure please.. her: oh you know we don't have time.. hush.. weird look.. I was like wow didn't offer me options, another day, time, nothing.. ok I took my son and said I won't come back here. And I never will again!Thankfully, another customer who was there was just as kind to my baby and responded to his interaction. He's just discovering the world and I'm trying to make it look as good as possible for him despite attitudes like that.

I went in and asked if I could have a marble design. The lady ensured me she could do it. What I walked out with was pink lines drawn across my nail. Not to mention they were lumpy, uneven, different shapes, different lengths and sizes. I tried to explain this but there was no understanding on the other side. I got charged $70 for sns and “the design” I had to get to a funeral and couldn’t stay to fix it so I went somewhere else the following day to fix it and even the nail technician laughed at the job that was done. I went back today to ask for my money back and the manager said no... she told me I should have let them fix it. Because they did such a good job the first time and they made me bleed.. anyways. Went there to get SNS nails done but it was done extremely poorly and it was even upsetting that the girl didnt try to rectify it or be committed in ensuring that it was done well, she wasnt gentle and very rushed and defintely lack professionalism, but just collected the payment. Went to another nail salon to re-do it, and that girl was shocked to see the outcome of the SNS nails done. Very disappointed considering i have been going there for quite awhile. Sadly, wouldnt recommend this store anymore and wont go back anymore. It's located at Camberwell, Burke Road.

By far the worst nail experience I've ever had. I have been before once or twice before covid and it was okay, the price was good and the quality was what i expected since I was paying around 25 dollars. Today however, I called before coming in to ask for the prices for a SNS French Tip. They told me on the phone it would cost 50 dollars, double what I had expected. Then i got my nails done, I asked for a Squoval shaped nail, and it was almost stiletto, the SNS was and still is lumpy and uneven, the white tips are not the same length and I have glue and powder set around my nails. Then when I went to pay, they charged me 60 dollars, for a very poor result. When I got home, I had to file my nails down because they were much longer than I asked for, even after asking the technician to cut them. Overall, horrible, disappointed there isn't a zero star rating.I would also like to add after looking at the reviews that THIS WAS ON BURKE ROAD NAIL PALACE!!! Do not try and say this was port melbourne.Last image is what i showed them for reference. The rest are my results, AFTER I SHAPED THEM. I should have taken a photo before i reshaped them but didnt. I think the photos speak for themselves.

Rough, Rude and Ruined Nails! If you are near this place- run in the opposite direction! My nails look like there is few layers missing and are now in for a long recovery after their service. 'Beauty' places like this should not be allowed to exist. It is obvious that employees have zero qualification in manicure/pedicure and are just visiously biting off cuticles as if they were using secateurs!

I have been a regular for many years at nail palace Camberwell and never had a problem until recently.Unfortunately ever since they have replaced their previous employees ( maybe 4-5 months ago now ) the quality of their work and their service has severely gone down hill. The new employees seem to have little to no experience with performing manicures/pedicures. Leaving me with cuts from the nail drill and file, not doing the pedicure just doing the bare minimum of file and applying polish which is untidy and left on the sides of my fingers, not using the foot spa and charging me for a full pedicure.When I have had tips, there are always dips in the middle of my nail and the French was done poorly.I have spoken to many other customers from this business and have similar opinions to mine. I hope for the sake of the business they acknowledge their reviews and fix these flaws.
