A great private suite with a surprise optional addition of Shiba Inu!

Food was amazing, accommodation was amazing, Lyne and Simon are lovely and the Shiba's are absolutely gorgeous dogs.Had a great time

My daughter and I visited this stunning place last month and we will definitely be back again. Simon and Lyne were terrific hosts and have done a superb job in their renovations, right down to the fine details. The shiba cuddles were an added bonus. A terrific place to stopover or stay for the weekend.

I could go on and on saying that Lyne and Simon at Kortmar are the nicest people ever and how professional they are in conducting their business. But I think the best way to portray my experience with the Kortmar family is to talk about the thing that meant the absolute most to me.I adopted my very own fur baby from Kortmar this year. Prior to that I had been waiting for approximately 3 years. When it was finally my turn, I was honestly overwhelmed; I had waited so long and I couldn't believe that I could finally have my own Shiba. As such, I wanted everything to be so perfect to the point where I was panicking about every little thing in the beginning. During this time I would send messages to Lyne constantly asking questions that probably made me seem like a crazy helicopter parent. However Lyne was very patient and supportive during this time; she made sure I had the information I needed and reassured me plenty of times that everything was ok (everything was indeed ok, I was just being a worry wart). Now that everything has settled, I look back and honestly think to myself that I could not have adopted my baby from a better breeder.For those who are interested in adopting a pup or even having a stay at Kortmar Manor, I give them my full recommendation. You may have to wait quite some time for a pup but spending a weekend at their place would definitely give you a Shiba fix! Lyne and Simon have done an amazing job with the place, giving it a vintage luxury feel. Bit of a long review, but I couldn't of shortened it in any way.

WOW... Where to start, this place is an oasis with beautiful gardens, well appointed room with own ensuite, wi-fi, even Netflix. With meals freshly prepared by Simon and Lyne the dogs are a credit to you. The shiba's are in all their glory with plenty of room to play and the dog accommodation is well above standard.The time spent renovating this wonderful home is a credit to both Lyne and Simon.We would have no hesitations in recommending this B&B to anyone and will definitely be paying a visit again soon.Congratulations Lyne and Simon. Thankyou, for a great few days.
