Eric’s a brilliant coach who makes classes great fun with brilliant jokes.

Coming from several years within the hospitality, I can vouch for it's customer service. Eric and Ryan are the coaches within the gym. They are technically focussed via constantly updating their knowledge. Couple with their patience, respect and care towards each individual practitioner, it makes it a perfect environment for learning the sport. Anyone who is planning to any kind of combative sport should consider visiting.

Great atmosphere and coaching. Super supportive coaches and team with clear explanations and attention to detail with personalised feedback. Way beyond rote learning of techniques, but clear explanations of how techniques work so you have the knowledge to make changes when things come out less than perfect when rolling.

Eric is a fantastic communicator and has a quirky sense of humour. Highly recommend.

Ryan and Eric are skilled practioners of their sport. They are generous with their time. I have seen both of them give attention to their students outside of class times. Everyone is lighthearted. Worth the visit to learn and play!

My partner attended for almost a year. I was utterly proud of the confidence she built. However, there is trust from the community when members rub their bodies so intimately. Particularly, there is trust in the authority held by any martial arts leader. Master Eric abused this trust when he groomed my partner for an affair while knowing of our relationship, occurring in his car after training, in the Mizu club rooms and on her lunch breaks during work hours. We were going to have children together. Partners beware of a club that holds such non-family friendly attitudes. Consider this review before providing touch consent. Since she rejected him he has threatened me physically despite my own firm boundaries, which goes against BJJ principles.

I am new to this and they have been helping me and encouraging me. They are quite happy to work with you regardless of your size and experience. For me it has just been a positive experience.
