The bentos are pretty sizeable but I honestly cannot remember if it was a standout or not. The place was pretty busy for a weekday lunch but I suppose the turnover is quite high as the food is served pretty quickly. There's Japanese desserts here too and they're a good way to end your meal.

One of the nice Japanese Joint in mt pleasant. The only downside to this place is quite small. Most of the food are good and tasty. I like their karage. Their beef used to be nice but recently its not that nice anymore. I think need some kind of improvement there. Heard from my friend thejr fish is also good. I think this should be one of your go to list if you like japanese bento. Very unique and tasty.

Second time dining here but first for dinner. The food was very well presented as you can see from the picture. The highlight for us would definitely be the cold soba as we do not know where else we could find them in Perth. Would definitely return. Be sure to make a reservation if dining in.

delicious tempura and huge portions of sashimi and noodles!! potato salad was delicious too :-) slightly on the salty side for the sides and the onigiri was slightly dry, but would come back again to try other stuff

Food was nice and a good amount.Service was a bit concerning thought - the store it too SMALL and they are taking too MANY bookings.We had a booking for 6:30pm (table of 7 people) and was not told in advance we only had 1 hour to dine because they offered the same table to someone else at 7:30pm.Upon arrival we had to quickly decide what to order and wait for dishes to come, then finish eating very rushed in around 20 minutes. Minding that the owners were looking at us and telling us we only have the table to 7:30pm and that people from the next booking had arrived 5 minutes early too.Very rushed experience, it was one of my friend’s birthday too! One of my friend ended up taking away the half she couldn’t finsib in store.

A nice spot for a taste of Japanese Bento lunch.We dined at JBento for the first time on a weekday during the December school holiday period. Luckily we arrived early at 1215pm with a choice of tables because the place is very small and gets full very easily.The place is unassuming from the exterior view but the interior was chic, nice ans minimalist.We ordered the miso butter beef steak and the salmon sashimi bento set, and both were served quite quick, and tasted fresh and delicious.Tip:Book online for your table as it gets very busy for lunchParking outside is free for 3 hours

Nice little place for simple Japanese food. The food feels very home cooked, nothing too crazy but still comforting to eat. The atmosphere was so lovely, starting from the lighting, songs choice to service. Definitely tops the experience!

JBento never disappoint! Place to go when I’m in mood for Japanese Bento. This time we ordered the unagi bento and nagoya miso katsu bento-this was not karaage but very crispy!

Service is great! Very accommodating and understanding! They leave the door open to increase air flow on our request. Food is excellent! Fresh and tasty. Matcha panna cotta is my favourite dessert.

The food here used to be really good. Lately, I have found that standards have dropped and food is inconsistent. Sometimes find salad in Bento Box browning or wilting, rice is wet compacted stodge and mains overcooked.
