Canoe the Coorong- Guided kayaking tours & hire

We went as a family on this sunset tour. To be honest I was a little concerned when we got there because of the wind. Sarah and Riley took us on a route that made it so easy. Enjoyed the bush tucker walk learning about the plants, had a fantastic platter with the personal touch. If you are not sure use this as a confirmation to give it a go. We loved it.

Canoe the Coorong was such a great experience, the guide, Tom was very accommodating and made changes to our itinerary as needed. He was very knowledgable about the local history and culture.

Was a great tour! The guide knew their stuff and did a good job with information and maintaining interest while also allowing plenty of time to just enjoy the paddle.Equipment was all in good condition and clean.The cooked lunch was a highlight with some very nicely done local fish.

There is something very special about watching the sunset from the sand dunes of the Coorong. There is the stillness that comes from the sounds of nature, broken only by the soft voice of the guide sharing aspects of the history of the setting and locally sourced produce, as well as introducing us to edible berries of the native flora. We were a small group and the air was cool, so I couldn't have hoped for a more ideal afternoon! Highly recommended for those who want a reprieve from their usual habitat! It was a delight to meet our young guide Sarah and the difference in our ages disappeared in a second. What an incredible young woman. Special thanks to Brenton for enabling us to rebook when a family member had a fall and was transported to the ED.

We had great time kayaking through the Murray river. Right from the beginning, a day before our trip, Brenton updated us about the weather and gave us options to reschedule considering it wasn’t a normal calm day. We decided to go for an adventurous first time experience. Our guides, James was vey knowledgeable and supportive through our little man hiccups! Our kids (11 & 12) enjoyed the paddle so much that they didn’t feel the time or mind the cold weather. James tied my kayak to his when he felt my son was getting very tired and we were falling behind. Picnic at Coorong national park was lovely with nice local produce. Sam, also was very helpful and was making sure everyone getting on and off the kayaks without any troubles.Stunning sunset on our way back was so worth it and the calm weather at the end of the day made the whole experience a very special one and one to remember.Highly recommend for anyone even without previous experience paddling.Note: The location on Google Maps is not the correct one. Thank you Canoe the Coorong for another fantastic day on the beautiful waters of the Coorong! We did the day tour in March 2020 with Brenton and today with Leon. Both guides were so knowlegeable about the land, vegetation, bird and animal life and the history of the area. Oh the stories, and meeting one of the local legendary old timers on the track was a bonus!

Fun canoe and beach picnic activity. The kayak part was easy and fun. We kayaked to the barrage to avoid winds but still saw seals and birds. Tour guide Riley was cool and friendly. The picnic was great I enjoyed that part more than I expected.

Had an awesome morning out with Tom. Such a friendly, knowledgeable guide. We were able to add six new species to our bird list for our holiday! The company were super accommodating for us. Thanks again.

We just completed the Sunset tour, was good fun, learnt a lot and got to see the River meet the ocean.Walk around the dunes, some local knowledge then dinner, which was great and they catered for our GF daughter as well.Great group of people and our guides, Tom & Tatt we’re really friendly and easy to talk to both really cheery positive people.The family loved itWill definitely do again one day,
