Hubby and I went there Saturday 3rd September for lunch. We were so disappointed that I wrote to them via their website when we got home. It was so busy there, I didn't think anyone would really listen.... Haven't heard a word from them.You can see from the photo that the ribs weren't even the size of the blade on the knife.This is what I wrote,Afternoon

The worst caesar salad ive seen. They forgot the croutons, came with the hardest cold boiled egg, cut in half lengthwise, Bacon sprinkles. The Chilli prawn linguine dishes (2) were cooked together and disprotionately served. One dish had all the the prawns and sauce, the other 1 cherry tomato and completely lacking, neither had much chilli. Waitresses that don't ask how your meal is. Just another Gold Coast pub that serves below average meals at restaurant prices. Do yourself a favoir and go to an actual restaurant with actual chefs who know what the dish comprises of.and pay virtually the same price. Below is a photo of the supposed toasted croutons with no garlic. Its obvious the restaurant has chamged hands since the last time I dined here a year ago. I do not recommend.

Salt and pepper squid was nice and crispy also very tender.The beef roll was nice just the meat was tough and in large pieces, that made it hard to eat. But over all was delicious.The gravy was very bland and watery.Sports bar area is beautiful. Staff are lovely.

I want to send a shout out to the team and management at this venue on Saturday night! The staff in all areas were amazing, super friendly, helpful, fun, engaging and all seemed happy to be there. It is really refreshing to go somewhere and get fantastic service with a smile. Keep it up we will be back :)

It was my first meal at the Dog and Parrot last night. A group of 6 of us.We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My Parmi was exceptional. The staff were friendly and efficient, and didn't rush us at all. Oh btw, the Espresso Martini , well let's just say, it's the most decadent way to finish off a lovely meal.

Went there for my grandson 19th birthday. Service was excellent, Manager on duty was excellent helping us with the celebration and cake. Food was delicious would highly recommend

Birthday group of about 40-50 family members. Food very slow to come out. Staff confused orders, couldn't remember who ordered what? Should've put a name to an order! Meals were satisfactory. Brilliant rendition of happy birthday sung by staff member-thank you very much for that.
