Our companies recently underwent a total office renovation from January -March 2020.Garrett Builders were our chosen builder / project manager, dealing directly with their principle partner , Ken Garrett.This was an extensive project involving 500 square metres of office space originally built by the Bata shoe company Seaford way back in 1965. The project had many challenges including the total removal of the existing ceiling,walls,windows, electrical and ancient plumbing.To complicate things further our office staff needed to continue working at temporary work stations in extremely close proximity to the active work site. Ken worked meticulously to ensure that both sites continued to function efficiently and most importantly, safely, during demolition and construction.Ken has managed all other trades safely ,seamlessly and with a can do attitude throughout the process.The project has been completed on time , met all budget requirements and most importantly looks and feels fantastic for the twenty five staff comfortably working in their new environment.Myself and fellow directors would have no hesitation in recommending Ken and his team and proudly welcome a site inspection of our pristine new premises at any time.Philip Allen

Ken Garrett has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He built a new bedroom, bathroom and WIR over a 4 month period in late 2015 and it was a pleasure to have him working in our home. Not only is he personable but also very respectful, has great ideas , a very high standard of work and he made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. At every step of the way, Ken kept us informed of the work he was doing, and also kept us informed of his arrival times. Ken's work is of the highest standard. When I rang 8 of his referees, they unanimously echoed his praises. Ken surpassed our expectations and we would not hesitate in recommending him.

Ken recently completed a complete renovation of our home. What started as an idea to just add a bedroom turned into a complete gut and extend of our home. We were so lucky to have Ken to take on this huge project, especially considering we had never built or renovated before. We are beyond belief of what he has built for our family. The quality is outstanding and his professionalism throughout the whole build was exemplary. Every trade that came to the build site commented on the craftsmanship of Ken and his team. Every trade he engaged wanted to work with him which made our build happen within our timeline and in COVID! The site was clean, organised and Ken was here on site everyday required to ensure whatever needed to happen did, if a trade had a question he was here to answer it. He used his experience to make suggestions where required but also allowed us to make decisions along the way also. I couldn't recommend Ken highly enough, you will be lucky to have him build for you!
