Had to have my RMs resoled and was recommended to take them here. Very friendly service and was given a genuine time frame (he was super busy, always a good sign!) of one week which was met! Boots looked fantastic and upon wearing them I realised they had been done to an A grade standard! Great stuff, will be taking my other boots here for sure!!

Great guy. Replaced sole, heal and elastic sides on an old pair of RM Williams. Thought I would have to throw them away. David restored them to new. Extremely pleased with result. Highly recommended.

I brought in a Mimco bag and asked David to remove some leather fringing. To do this he needed to pull apart some of the bag, do the alteration, and put it all back together. It took a while so when I phoned for an update he explained politely that he had ordered in a matching thread but it was, understandably, held up due to COVID. I really appreciated him doing his best to find a thread that matched the colour of the bag so well.Upon receiving the bag today, I can say he has done a fantastic job as you can’t even tell the bag was pulled apart at all.After reading some of the other reviews it seems people need to practice a bit of patience as his work is worth waiting for. I would definitely recommend him for bag repairs and alterations. My parents have also used him for years for shoe repairs and won’t go anywhere else. Very happy customer! :)

Popped in for a battery replacement for my car remote. Pleasantly surprised at the speed of repair and price. Definitely worth the time.

Very poor standard of work. Did not do what I asked him to do and made the shoe unwearable in public. Was also expensive and took 6 weeks. I had to contact him and ask when it would be ready. He made it obvious that he did not like that. Used to be good but service standards have slipped. Would now go elsewhere.

I love Unley Shoe Repairs. Their address says Unley Road but they are just around the corner in Arthur Street next to the Unley Shopping Centre.The owner David is a wonderful man. He is very friendly and extremely helpful. I am always greeted with a smile and he makes me feel welcomed. I have been going there for quite a few years for all my shoe/handbag repairs and watch battery replacements. By the way I think he's the cheapest in Adelaide for replacing watch batteries. His work is very impressive and professional.Thank you David for the great work you do. Even when I've ruined a pair of shoes you always bring them back to life.
