Three months after purchasing a duplex in Armstrong Beach QLD I found out that my daughter and I didn’t own any of the surrounding land. As we are from Sydney it never occurred to me that the land within the boundary fence line was not included. It is all Strata land. Brooke Patterson handled the sale, and even though we spoke to her about putting a pool in and other modifications to the property, not once did she inform us that We didn’t own the land.I emailed her and my daughter emailed her asking her why it was never made known to us.Our emails were ignored.I suggest anyone dealing with Brooke be very careful about the fine print.
