I was looking around for a kitchen benchtop for a few weeks and found Mintaro slate through word of mouth. I didn’t realise they sold granite and slate bench tops initially.I was looking for something I could DIY for a commercial kitchen, with very short notice and turn around time to reduce loss of kitchen function. Jozsi from Mintaro / Tilletts moved mountains to help me out.I ordered 8m of polished granite site unseen, he helped me plan the slab sizes so they could be priced together with minimal joins, he even helped organise delivery.Joszi suggested we got flared black granite as it’s cheaper as it’s not as uniform - honestly the flares in the stone are the best bit.All up it cost less than a IKEA kitchen top (both timber and quartz and we got real 30mm granite.Would highly recommend Mintaro and Jozsi as your first stop for stone.Dom
