Optus Lavington

Drove the 30 min into town to switch to Optus while in store. Lavington was only store still open for the Thursday evening hours. We went in ready to sign-up. We looked at the phone I had already been quoted previously from another store when initially sussing out options.The paper in front of phone was missing. We were informed this phone's price had changed. Even though online still had that quoted price listed. The 2 men became zero help after that, despite store being empty. They wanted to just sit in back and do nothing. Told us to just do it online instead.Which I did and spent 2 1/2 hours on chat getting it sorted. So no ill will towards Optus. Just this store's staff.Now a week later I peek into original Optus store I go to to look for phone cases now that they've arrived. The phone we looked at is still the price I was initially quoted. So the staff at Lavington straight up LIED to us. Doing things in store is always easier, and that's why we drove in to do it. AVOID THIS STORE if you are considering Optus. There are better stores with great staff.Shout out to Wagga store for being so helpful and fixing the small details of switching our numbers over to Optus and finding us all the deals applicable to our situation.

Very disappointed in the service here, I have been a customer for quite a while. I drove 1hour in to town to buy a new phone to then be refused service because it was 30minutes to close they closed at 5:30pm on a Thursday they didn’t even consider to help me but to boot me out of the store so they could knock off I am very disappointed in this service:(

Situated in the Lavington Square shopping Centre is this Optus mobile phone store. We have had two rounds of phones from here and the customer service team know their products. The reason that I rate this a three is that our most recent phone and plan they told us we would have the phone between 1-3weeks. It’s now 3.5 weeks and the phone is not even in the country. The store itself is cleans and inviting. Just wish they could adequately provide the product in the timeframe they said they could.

Most unhelpfull staff ever. I never go into this store I always use the Albury one who are very helpfull but unfortunately I didnt pass this wisdom on to my daughter. She went in regarding her nearly new mobile phone which had lines on the screen. She was bluntly told she must have dropped it which she didnt and she told them this but they continued on and said she would have to claim on her insurance and pay the $170 to send away even though its still under warrenty. Is it even legal to deliberately give out wrong information like this? I had to give a one star to post this but I would give no stars if I could.

Got great assistance as I am not that up to date with technology. Did not mind spending time to help. Great staff .

Nice friendly staff, even if you come in just to have a look around.

This Optus has quite honestly the worst service out there the staff do not care about there customers at all very very disappointing hope the Optus team sort this store out but I know for sure I will not be coming back.
